Can anyone become a Muslim?
7:158 Say, "O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, to Whom is the dominion of the heavens and the earth. There is no god except Him, He gives life and causes death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, who believes in Allah and His Words, and follow him so that you may be guided."
21:107 And We have not sent you, except as a mercy for the worlds.
3:96 Indeed, the first House set up for mankind was that at Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for the worlds.
(Muhammad was sent to all of mankind (7:158, 34:28, 3:96, 21:107, 6:19, 36:70), including Jews and Christians. And those who deny the Verses of the Qur’an are disbelievers (84:22, 2:91, 52:33-34, 46:10, 10:95-97, 23:38-39, 40:70), so everyone is required to become a Muslim. "Muslim" is an Arabic word meaning "one who submits (to God)." By definition, all Messengers were Muslims (i.e., submitted (to God)), but if you follow a path other than Islam (i.e., “Submission”), then you are not submitting to God.) (Allah knows best)
2:135 And they said, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say, "Nay, the religion of Abraham, the upright; and he was not of those who associated partners."
(According to Verse 2:135, Jews and Christians no longer follow the true religion. So they are required to follow the Qur’an (61:6, 5:19).) (Muslims follow the religion of Abraham, so it is not a new religion. Jews and Christians might differ from the true religion because of what they concealed of the Book (6:91, 2:143), what they forgot (5:13-14), the burdens placed on them for their wrongdoing (16:124, 4:160), what they innovated (57:27), their pursuit of their own desires (2:120, 5:48), and their committing excess in their religion (4:171), etc. Therefore, they are required to follow the Qur’an, which contains an older religion: the religion of Abraham. Christian and Jewish innovations are not accepted.) (Allah knows best)
5:19 O People of the Book, surely there has come to you Our Messenger, he makes clear to you (after) an interval of the Messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But surely there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is on every thing All-Powerful.
39:53 Say, "O My slaves, those who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the Mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
(God forgives all sins (39:53), so for those who ask for forgiveness and repent (11:90, 11:61, 12:98, 27:46), God is Most Merciful.) (Allah knows best)
9:11 But if they repent, and establish prayer and give zakah, then (they are) your brothers in religion. And We explain the Verses in detail for a people (who) know.
(Those who repent, establish prayer, and give charity are brothers in religion. And those who repented, believed, and did good deeds will enter Paradise (19:60). So, becoming a Muslim is attainable for anyone. On the other hand, becoming a Christian requires that you believe in an unjust so-called killing and crucifixion of Jesus. Christianity is a man-made religion; Jesus was not even sent to all of mankind. Rather, Jesus was meant to be saved from his enemies, not mankind, because a faction of the Children of Israel tried to kill him. Matthew 15:24 confirms this: “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”) (And in order to become a Jew, your mother must be Jewish. And in order to become Zoroastrian, you must be Persian. People from other places were not allowed to practice the religion. Therefore, Judaism and Zoroastrianism are man-made religions. They follow their own desires.) (Allah knows best)
3:105 And do not be like those who became divided and differed after the clear proofs came to them. And they will have a great punishment.
11:92 He said, "O my people, is my family mightier on you than Allah? And you have taken Him behind your backs. Indeed, my Lord is All-Encompassing of what you do.
(You should not be worried or scared about what your family or acquaintances might think regarding your conversion to Islam.) (Allah knows best)
5:54 O you who believe, whoever among you turns back from his religion, then soon Allah (will) bring a people whom He loves and they love Him, humble towards the believers (and) stern towards the disbelievers; striving in (the) way (of) Allah and not fearing the blame (of) a critic. That (is the) Grace (of) Allah, He grants (to) whom He wills. And Allah (is) All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
8:70 O Prophet, say to whoever (is) in your hands of the captives, "If Allah knows any good in your hearts, He will give you better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you. And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
78:39 That (is) the True [the] Day. So whoever wills let him take a return towards/(to) his Lord.
