How the Qur’an corrects Christianity?

How the Qur’an corrects Christianity?

3:7 He is the One Who revealed to you the Book, in it are Verses which are absolutely clear - they are the foundation of the Book, and others are allegorical. Then as for those in whose hearts is perversity - [so] they follow what is allegorical of it, seeking discord and seeking its interpretation. And none except Allah knows its interpretation. And those who are firm in knowledge, they say, "We believe in it. All is from our Lord." And not will take heed except men of understanding.

(Many Christians follow parables or allegories (e.g. Mark 7:15-20 in regard to food), instead of the clear verses in the Bible (e.g. pig meat is forbidden in Deuteronomy 14:8, Leviticus 11:7-8, Isaiah 66:17, Isaiah 65:2-4); Matthew 13:13 and Luke 8:10 confirm that the purpose of the parables is that they may not understand; that’s because Jesus was only sent to the Children of Israel; this is supported by Matthew 15:24, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel”. According to Matthew 13:34, “Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable”; but according to Mark 4:34, Jesus explained everything in private to the (Jewish) disciples; and according to John 18:20, Jesus said nothing in secret in synagogues or at the temple (Jewish places); and according to Matthew 13:36, Jesus explain a parable in private to the (Jewish) disciples. So, one interpretation is that the parables were addressed to non-Jews or gentiles so that they may not understand; because Jesus was sent to the Children of Israel (61:14, 43:59, 3:47-50, 5:72, 61:6); and the Gospel was also addressed to the Children of Israel: “in it was Guidance and light” (5:46), instead of darkness and confusion; and Jesus came to the Children of Israel with clear evidences (61:6), instead of unclearness)(Allah knows best)

61:14 O you who believe, be helpers of Allah, as said Jesus, son of Mary, to the disciples, "Who are my helpers for Allah?" The disciples said, "We are the helpers of Allah." Then a group of Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy and they became dominant.

43:59 He was not except a slave on whom We bestowed Our favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.

61:6 And when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."

(Jesus announced to the Children of Israel the coming of Muhammad (61:6); so, the Children of Israel is required to follow the Qur’an; on the other hand, Jesus was not sent to those Christians who are not Jews, but Christians must follow the Qur’an as well, because Muhammad was sent to the whole mankind (7:158, 34:28, 3:96, 21:107, 6:19, 36:70), including Jews and Christians)(In regard to Jesus mentioning Ahmad, see the link below “Is Muhammad mentioned in the Bible?”)(Allah knows best)

7:158 Say, "O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, to Whom is the dominion of the heavens and the earth. There is no god except Him, He gives life and causes death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, who believes in Allah and His Words, and follow him so that you may be guided."

(Muhammad was sent to the whole mankind (7:158, 34:28, 3:96, 21:107, 6:19, 36:70), including Jews and Christians)(Allah knows best)

34:28 And We have not sent you except to all mankind, as a giver of glad tidings and as a warner. But most people do not know.

36:70 To warn him who is alive, and the Word may be proved true against the disbelievers.

2:135 And they said, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say, "Nay, the religion of Abraham, the upright; and he was not of those who associated partners."

(According to Verse 2:135, Jews and Christians do not follow the true religion anymore, because they deviated from the religion of Abraham (e.g. Abraham was not a Trinitarian))(Allah knows best)

3:59 Indeed, the likeness of Jesus with Allah is like the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.

(The miraculous birth of Jesus does not make him a deity. Adam was created likewise)(Allah knows best)

4:171 O People of the Book, do not commit excess in your religion and do not say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a spirit (waruhun) from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Glory be to Him, that He (should) have a son for Him. To Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

(The word “trinity” is not even found in the Bible, so it is a false concept. “Trinity” means “group of three”, so “three” in the Qur’an refers to “trinity”)(According to Verse 4:171, the concept of “trinity / three” is wrong (“do not say, three; desist”, “Indeed, the God is but one God” (4:171)). The Verse also says that Jesus was God’s word. One interpretation is that Jesus is His word because God created Jesus saying “Be”. The creation of Jesus is like the creation of Adam, there was no sexual relation between a man and a woman, but the word was directed to Mary (Jesus was created in Mary’s womb))(Verse 4:171 explicitly mentions God, Jesus and the Spirit; so the Qur’an mentions in this Verse who are the “three” (according to Christians), but one interpretation is that the Verse says that two of them (Jesus and the Spirit) are not God, but God’s Messengers. So, one interpretation of the sentence “and a spirit from Him” is that the spirit is a messenger as well (Note: the word “wa” (and) which is a new and non-chronological sentence), and according to the context, it might refer to “Messenger”, previously mentioned. This interpretation is also supported by the next sentence “So believe in Allah and His messengers” (in plural). And the interpretation might also be supported by Verses 19:17-19, which confirms that the Spirit is only a messenger of God. The Spirit says about himself that “I am only a Messenger from your Lord”(19:19). The Spirit or Holy Spirit is believed to be Gabriel)(But, another interpretation is that the word translated as “spirit” (ruhun) also means “inspiration”, so He directed His Word and an inspiration from Him, to Mary’s womb. This interpretation might be supported by Verses 21:91 and 66:12, in which God “breathed” into her of His Inspiration, so according to the sentence, “breathing of His Inspiration” might make more sense, rather than breathing of spirit/angel, because spirits/angels can move themselves (41:30). So, Jesus is not God or the son of God, but was created inside Mary’s womb, from God’s inspiration. The sentence “from God” does not imply “God Himself”)(Verse 19:17 says, “ We sent to her Our Spirit, then he appeared to her in the likeness of a well-proportioned man”. Notice that the Verse says “We sent to her” (19:17) rather than “We breathed into her” (21:91). And that event seems to be previous to breathing into her. So, according to the context, one Spirit is the Messenger, but the other one might be “an inspiration”)(And Verse 16:2 says, “He sends down the Angels with the inspiration (bil-ruhi) of His Command”. So, according to the context, an Angel/Spirit is a Messenger, or, according to the context, “ruhi” can just be “inspiration”. See the link below)(Allah knows best)

112:1 Say, "He is Allah, the One. 112:2 Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute. 112:3 He neither begets nor is begotten. 112:4 And nor is there to Him any equivalent."

(Christians mention John 1:1, “the word was god”, but the Qur’an says that Jesus is not God (5:72, 5:73, 5:116, 5:17). Notice that John 1:1 does not even mention “Jesus”. And John 1:1 is a sentence said byJohn”, so it was not even said by Jesus (e.g. John 1:1 does not say and Jesus said that in the beginning was the Word, etc.). Another point is that anything in the Bible, that contradicts the Qur’an, is wrong, because it is said that Jesus did not write the Gospel but is anonymous and the language is in Greek instead of Aramaic (the language of Jesus), and the current Bible has verses that are not in the oldest Bible sources (Codex Vaticanus, Codex Sinaiticus, Papyrus), so it is not a reliable source. See the article below: “Is the Bible corrupted?”)(Allah knows best)

9:30 And the Jews said, "Uzair is son of Allah." And the Christians said, "Messiah is son of Allah." That is their saying with their mouths, they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before. (May) Allah destroy them. How deluded are they.

(God creates, He does not beget His creation. So, mankind is not children of God, but God’s creation)(According to Verse 9:30, the concept “son of God” is not from God, but from those who disbelieved before)(Allah knows best)

5:18 And the Jews and the Christians said "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Nay, you are human beings from among those He created. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And for Allah is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the final return.

(God creates, He does not beget His creation)(See also the link below “Is Jesus God or the son of God?”)(Allah knows best)

19:88 And they say, "The Most Gracious has taken a son." 19:89 Verily, you have put forth an atrocious thing. 19:90 The heavens are almost torn therefrom, and the earth splits asunder and the mountains collapse in devastation. 19:91 That they invoke to the Most Gracious a son. 19:92 And it is not appropriate for the Most Gracious that He should take a son. 19:93 There is none in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Most Gracious as a slave.

17:111 And say, "All Praise is for Allah, the One Who has not taken a son and Who has no partner in the dominion nor any protector out of weakness. And magnify Him with all magnificence."

23:91 Allah has not taken any son, nor is there any god with Him. Then surely each god would have taken away what he created, and surely some of them would have overpowered others. Glory be to Allah above what they attribute.

4:48 Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives other than that for whom He wills. And whoever associates partners with Allah, then has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.

(One interpretation is that God does not forgive association if people did not repent and asked forgiveness before they died. This interpretation is supported by other Verses in the Qur’an (See the post below “Is shirk forgivable?”))(Allah knows best)

2:94 Say, "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is exclusively for you, and not for others of mankind, then wish for death, if you are truthful."

57:27 Then We sent Our Messengers on their footsteps and We followed with Jesus, son of Mary, and We gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy. But the monasticism they innovated - We did not prescribe it for them - only seeking the pleasure of Allah, but they did not observe it with right observance. So We gave those who believed among them their reward, but most of them are defiantly disobediently.

(Monasticism refers to the life of monks and nuns (ascetics). There is a Christian belief that Jesus was not married, so monks copy what they think he did. Monks are bound by vows to a life of chastity and poverty, and they are confined in monasteries. The Verse might imply that vows to a life of chastity and poverty were not prescribed, nor being confined in monasteries, so that they can marry and spend for themselves. Marrying (24:32) and spending (2:219) are explicitly allowed)(Allah knows best)

5:46 And on their footsteps We sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming what was before him of the Torah, and We gave him the Gospel, in it was Guidance and light and confirming what was before him of the Torah and a Guidance and an admonition for the God conscious.

(Christians innovated that they would be saved by the grace through faith alone, regardless of their deeds, while according to James 2:14-26 “faith without works is dead”; according to Matthew 5:17, Jesus confirmed the Law “do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them”; according to Matthew 23:2-3 “the teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.”; according to Acts 15:5 and 15:20, early Christians followed the Law)(Allah knows best)

4:123 Neither your desire nor the desire of the People of the Book. Whoever does evil will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah any protector or any helper.

5:66 And if they had stood firmly by the Torah and the Gospel and what was revealed to them from their Lord, surely they would have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them is a moderate community, but many of them - evil is what they do.

(Jesus did not abrogate the Law, but confirmed it (Matthew 5:17, Matthew 23:2-3))(Allah knows best)

5:68 Say, "O People of the Book, you are not on anything until you stand firmly by the Torah and the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in rebellion and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.

(Christians are required to follow the Qur’an. The Qur’an is a Criterion (25:1) to know what is true in the Bible. The Qur’an confirms what God revealed in it (5:47-48), not what God did not reveal in it (e.g. Paul’s innovations))(See the article below: “Does the Qur'an replace the Bible?”)(Allah knows best)

2:173 He has only forbidden to you dead animals, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. So whoever is forced, without (being) disobedient, nor transgressor, then there is no sin on him. Indeed, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(The Qur’an prohibits that meat which is prohibited in the Bible. Acts 15:29 says “you are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things”; other verses in that sense: Acts 15:20, Acts 21:25, Exodus 34:15, Revelation 2:20, Deuteronomy 14:21, Leviticus 22:8, etc.)(In regard to pig meat, it is forbidden in Deuteronomy 14:8, Leviticus 11:7-8, Isaiah 66:17, Isaiah 65:2-4, etc.)(According to Christians, a verse/s in the Bible declare all foods clean (e.g. Mark 7:15-20), but such interpretation contradicts the Torah, the Gospel itself and the Qur’an. Matthew 5:17 says, “do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them”,...)(In the Bible, there is no explicit mention of a meat that was previously prohibited to be allowed (e.g. it is not explicitly said that people can eat pig meat), but it is an assumption, corruption or misinterpretation; it also contradicts early Christians’ practice of following the law (e.g. Acts 15:5, 15:20))(Even if Mark 7:15-20 were to allow something unlawful, it is not a reliable source)(Mark 7:15-20 is a parable. According to Matthew 13:13 and Luke 8:10, the purpose of the parables is that they may not understand. So, they did not understand that certain meat is indeed forbidden)(Allah knows best)

25:68 And those who do not invoke with Allah another god, and do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right, and do not commit adultery/fornication. And whoever does that will meet a penalty.

(Many Christians have relations with many men or women without being married, that’s a major sin (1 Corinthians 6:9))(Allah knows best)

2:183 O you who believe, fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, so that you may become righteous.

(According to the Bible, Jesus fasted. Most Christians do not fast anymore, while they should, because fasting is prescribed for mankind)(Allah knows best)

2:227 And if they resolve on divorce - then indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

(Women can divorce in Islam, but they cannot divorce in Christianity (Matthew 5:32). So, she could be oppressed or abused by her husband)(In Deuteronomy 22:28-29, if a man rapes a girl, he must marry her forever and can never divorce. So, this could rather punish the victim, and the rapist would go unpunished)(Christians and Jews made a woman solely responsible for the “original sin”, so they invented rules against women)(See the link below “Do non-Muslims oppress women?”)(Allah knows best)

24:31 And say to the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity/modesty, and not display their adornment except what is apparent of it. And let them draw their head covers over their bosoms, and not display their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husbands’ fathers, or their sons, or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their women, or that which their right hands possess, or the attendants having no physical desire among men, or children who are not aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah altogether O believers, so that you may succeed.

(Many Christians do not dress and look at people modestly. Matthew 5:28 says, “but I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart”)(Allah knows best)

19:16 And mention in the Book Mary, when she withdrew from her family to an eastern place. 19:17 Then she took a screen (hijab) from them. Then We sent to her Our Spirit, then he appeared to her in the likeness of a well-proportioned man. 19:18 She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge with the Most Gracious from you, if you are God fearing." 19:19 He said, "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, that I may bestow on you a pure son."

(Mary wore a veil. Most Christians do not wear it. The use of veil is supported in the Bible (1 Corinthians 11:6))(Allah knows best)

2:111 And they said, "None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian." That is their wishful thinking. Say, "Bring your proof if you are truthful."

37:95 He said, "Do you worship that which you carve 37:96 While Allah created you and that which you do?"

(Some Christians (e.g. Catholics) make images of their idols. It is prohibited in the Bible (Leviticus 26:1) and in the Qur’an (37:95-96))(Allah knows best)

35:14 If you invoke them, they do not hear your call; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like (the) All-Aware.

(Some Christians invoke Mary, Jesus and invented Saints; that’s idolatry)(According to the Bible, Jesus prayed to God (Matthew 11:25, Luke 23:34, etc.), Jesus never prayed to himself. Likewise, Muslims only invoke God)(According to “Acts 7:59”, Stephen prayed to Jesus, so it contradicts the Gospel, and opposes Jesus’ teachings)(“Acts” is not the Gospel but people’s acts)(Allah knows best)

2:120 And the Jews and the Christians will never be pleased with you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the Guidance of Allah is the Guidance." And if you follow their desires after what has come to you of the knowledge, you will have neither any protector from Allah nor any helper.

(According to the Verse, the Jews and Christians do not follow the true religion anymore, but their desires (e.g. Christians believe in the false concept of “trinity”))(Allah knows best)

40:12 "That (is) because, when Allah Alone was invoked, you disbelieved; but if (others) were associated with Him, you believed. So the judgment (is) with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great."

2:256 There is no compulsion in the religion. Surely the right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in false deities and believes in Allah has grasped the firm handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

(Some Christians try to change people’s religion with falsehood, on the other hand, there is freedom of religion in Islam)(See the link below “Is there freedom of religion in Christian countries?”)(Allah knows best)

5:116 And when Allah said, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, "Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?" He said, "Glory be to You, it was not for me to say what I had no right. If I had said it, then surely You would have known it. You know what is in myself, and I do not know what is in Yourself. Indeed, You, You are All-Knower of the unseen. 5:117 I did not say to them except what You commanded me – that, "You worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." And I was over them a witness as long as I was among them, then when You raised me, You were the Watcher over them, and You are Witness over all things.

(Catholic Christians took Mary as god (e.g. they invoke her and ask her for things). Jesus never did it. Jesus only worshiped God)(Verse 5:117 says, “I was over them a witness as long as I was among them, then when You raised me”, which implies that Jesus cannot hear Christians’ supplications. Jesus was a witness over the people around him, only when he was in this world. So, Jesus is not a deity, only God is Witness over all things)(Allah knows best)

5:72 They certainly disbelieve who say, "Indeed Allah - He is the Messiah, the son of Mary." While the Messiah said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates partners with Allah, then surely Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his abode will be the Fire. And there will be no helpers for the wrongdoers.

(Trinitarian Christians are not believers (e.g. Catholics))(Allah knows best)

5:73 They have certainly disbelieved, those who say, "Indeed, Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except the One God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, a painful punishment will surely afflict those who disbelieved among them. 5:74 So will they not turn to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who said, "Indeed, Allah, He is the Messiah, the son of Mary." Say, "Then who has the power against Allah in anything if He intends to destroy the Messiah, the son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on the earth?" And for Allah is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between both of them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is on everything All-Powerful.

9:31 They have taken their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah, son of Mary, as Lords besides Allah. And they were not commanded except to worship One God. There is no god except Him. Glory be to Him from what they associate.

(Jesus did not follow any rabbi, monk or Pope)(Allah knows best)

5:75 The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a Messenger, certainly Messengers had passed before him. And his mother was truthful. They both used to eat food. See how We make clear to them the Signs; then see how they are deluded.

(God is not sustained by His creation, but He is the Sustainer of existence (2:255 and 3:2); so, He does not have to create/eat food in order to keep Himself alive. On the other hand, Jesus used to eat food)(God is Eternal. The food was created from nothing, and for the creatures in a specific time and purpose. And God makes what is sown to grow (56:63-64))(Allah knows best)

35:18 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden calls to carry its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he be a near of kin. You can only warn those who fear their Lord - unseen and establish the prayer. And whoever purifies himself, then only he purifies for his own self. And to Allah is the destination.

(Jesus did not die for your sins. It is said that this concept was invented by Paul, but it is not supported by the Gospel, Torah or the Qur’an)(See the links below “Jesus vs. Paul” and “Did Jesus die for the sins of mankind? Was Jesus crucified?”)(Allah knows best)

4:157 And for their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him nor did they crucify him; but it was made to appear so to them. And indeed, those who differ in it are surely in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And certainly they did not kill him.

(Muslims believe that Jesus was not killed or crucified, and that it is not required to believe in such concept in order to obtain salvation, while Christians think that they must believe in the cross to obtain salvation. This Christian concept contradicts their own Bible and the Qur’an. Christians innovated that Jesus bore their sins, but this is not supported by the Old Testament (Deuteronomy 24:16, II Kings 14:6, Jeremiah 31:30, Ezekiel 18:20, Psalms 49:7, Numbers 35:33), nor by the New Testament (Galatians 6:5), and nor by the Qur’an (17:15))(Those who wronged themselves, they have to ask forgiveness for their sins, as Adam and his wife did (7:23). The killing of the Prophets do not make people obtain salvation, but they obtain a punishment (2:61). Jesus was not even sent to the whole mankind, but only to the Children of Israel. This is confirmed by Matthew 15:24, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel”. So, in regard to crucifixion, the purpose was not to save the whole mankind, but Jesus was the one to be saved. Jesus asked for salvation (Luke 22:42 and Hebrews 5:7). Christians say that the Old Testament confirms the crucifixion of Jesus (Psalm 22:16), but, according to the context, even in that case, he asks for salvation (Psalm 22:19-20, 22:24). Psalm 22:24 and Hebrews 5:7 suggest that Jesus’ petition was responded, so he was saved from being killed)(Allah knows best)

2:37 Then Adam received words from his Lord, so turned towards him. Indeed He, He is the Oft-returning, the Most Merciful.

7:20 Then Satan whispered to both of them to make apparent to both of them that which was concealed to both of them of their shame. And he said, "Did not Your Lord forbid you both this tree, except that you two become Angels or you two become of the immortals." … 7:23 Both of them said "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers."

(Adam and his wife asked forgiveness in order to be redeemed, so God turned to him and guided (20:122), and accepted the repentance (2:37))(Mankind was not sentenced to death because of what Adam and his wife did, because actually Adam and his wife were not immortal (7:20) before they committed sin, so that condition did not change after their error. That is confirmed by Verse 21:34, “And We did not make for any man before you immortality; so if you die, then (would) they live forever?”. And it is also confirmed by the Bible, in Genesis 3:22, “he must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever”)(Allah knows best)

20:121 Then they both ate of it, so their shame became apparent to them, and they began to fasten over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And Adam disobeyed his Lord and erred. 20:122 Then his Lord chose him, and turned to him and guided.

19:34 That was Jesus, the son of Mary, a statement of truth about which they dispute. 19:35 It is not for Allah to take a son. Glory be to Him, when He decrees a matter, then He only says to it, "Be" and it is. 19:36 "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path."

5:14 And from those who said, Indeed we are Christians," We took their covenant; but they forgot a part of what they were reminded of. So We aroused enmity and hatred between them until the Day of Resurrection. And soon Allah will inform them of what they used to do.

(According to Acts 11:26, the disciples were called “Christians” first in Antioch, so the word “Christian” was innovated because it is not mentioned in any of the four Gospels)(The word “Christian” is not used in the Qur’an; the literal translation of the Arabic word is “Nazarenes” ((followers) of the Nazarene). On the other hand, "Muslim" is an Arabic word meaning "one who submits (to God)", and “Islam” is an Arabic word meaning “submission (to God)”. That’s the religion preached by Jesus and all Messengers, because, according to Luke 22:42, Jesus said “yet not my will, but yours be done”)(Allah knows best)

3:85 And whoever seeks other than Islam as religion - then never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be from the losers.

3:64 Say, "O People of the Book, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we worship none except Allah, nor we associate any partners with Him and that we will not take others as lords besides Allah." Then if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims."

(The people of the Book (Bible means Book) are the ones who have to come to a word that is equitable between Muslims and them, because Christians take others as lords besides God (e.g. they follow the Pope or Paul’s teachings, instead of God); and Christians associate partners with God (e.g. Christians wrongly think that Jesus is God))(Allah knows best)

3:49 And a Messenger to the Children of Israel, "Indeed, I have come to you with a sign from your Lord - that I design for you from clay like the form of the bird, then I breath into it and it becomes a bird by the permission of Allah. And I cure the blind, and the leper, and I give life to the dead by the permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed, in that is surely a sign for you, if you are believers.

(Verse 3:49 says about Jesus “I cure”, “I design”, “I breath”, “I give life”. So, Jesus performed Signs, as “a sign from your Lord” and “by the permission of God” (3:49). So, if God had not given it to Jesus, then there would have been no Sign at all, and if God were not to give permission, then there would have been no Sign at all, then the performer (Jesus) is “irrelevant”, because Jesus can not be given a sign on his own. Other messengers came with Signs. Because a human performed it, it does not make him a deity)(Allah knows best)

47:2 And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition.

3:95 Say, Allah has told the truth, then follow the religion of Abraham, upright; and he was not of the polytheists. 3:96 Indeed, the first House set up for mankind was that at Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for the worlds. 3:97 In it are clear signs, the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it - is safe. And to Allah upon the people is a pilgrimage to the House – for whoever is able to it a way. And whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

(Muslims follow the religion of Abraham. This is ordered in the Qur’an. If you do not follow the religion of Abraham, you are not submitting to God)(The first House set up for mankind was that at Mecca. It was built by Abraham and Ishmael, and it was the standing place of Abraham. So, that religion is older than Christianity)(Adam was also ordered to submit to the will of God (Islam = submission (to God)), so, Islam is the oldest religion, despite Adam and Abraham’s rites might differ (e.g. the House was built long time after Adam, so there was not upon Adam a pilgrimage or it might have not been a standing place for Adam))(Allah knows best)

22:77 O you who believe, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good so that you may be successful.

(Muslims bow and prostrate in prayer. This is supported in the Bible (Genesis 43:28, Deuteronomy 9:25, 2 Samuel 1:2, 2 Samuel 9:6, etc.))(Allah knows best)

2:139 Say, "Do you argue with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? And for us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And we are sincere to Him.

(Some Christians argue about “Allah”, while it is said that the word “Allah” and “ilah” in the Qur’an use the same Semitic root than “eloah”, “elah”, “el” and “elohim” in the Bible)(Latin became the Catholic Church’s language (chosen by themselves), and Greek became the language of the New Testament, while it is said that Jesus spoke in Aramaic - a Semitic language, like Arabic)(See also the article below about the similarities between Hebrew and Arabic language, titled “Some similar words in Hebrew or the Hebrew Bible and the Arabic Qur’an”)(Allah knows best)

2:35 And We said, "O Adam, dwell you and your spouse in Paradise, and (you both) eat freely from wherever you (both) wish. But do not (you two) approach this tree, lest you (both) be of the wrongdoers." 2:36 Then Satan made (both of) them slip out of it, and he got (both of) them out from that in which they (both) were. And We said, "Go down (all of you), as enemies to one another; and on the earth, for you is a dwelling place and a provision for a period."

(Jews and Christians wrongly made a woman responsible for the original sin. And they historically made laws against women’s rights)(Allah knows best)

4:19 O you who believe, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by force. And do not constraint them in order to take part of what you have given them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah has placed much good in it.

(According to Genesis 38:8, women must have relations with her husband’s brother, while in Islam women have no obligation or cannot be forced to have relations)(Allah knows best)

24:2 The adulteress/fornicatress and the adulterer/fornicator, flog each of them with hundred lashes. And (let) not withhold you pity for them concerning the religion of Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment.

(There is “honor killing” in Judaism and Christianity (Leviticus 20:9-11 and 21:9, Exodus 21:17, Deuteronomy 13:6-9)(In regard to the Qur’an, the adulterers or fornicators are not sentenced to death, but to lashes)(Allah knows best)

27:23 Indeed, I found a woman ruling them, and she has been given everything, and she has a great throne.

(There are no objections in the Qur’an on a woman ruling. On the other hand, in the Bible, according to 1 Timothy 2: 11-15, women are not allowed to have any authority over men)(Allah knows best)

71:13 What is with you that you do not attribute to Allah grandeur?

(Paul blasphemed in 1 Corinthians 1:25, saying “foolishness” and “weakness”. There is no any foolishness or weakness in God, (Glory be to Allah above what they attribute), but God is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise (14:4))(Allah knows best)

2:79 So woe to those who write the book with their hands, then they say, "This is from Allah," to exchange it for a little price. So woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

(Christians oppose the religion, they invent concepts that are not in the Bible. In regard to Paul, it is said that he invented that Jesus’ sacrifice redeemed people, while it contradicts the Bible and the Qur’an. He also invented that people do not have to follow the Law, which Jesus confirmed and followed and early Christians practiced (e.g. Acts 15:5 and 15:20). It is also said that Paul was trinitarian; the trinitarians are disbelievers (5:72-73, 5:17). Paul persecuted early Christians, who followed the Law, and Paul as a “Christian” opposed the religion, by his fabrications. God does not guide the wrongdoing people (46:10))(Allah knows best)

33:44 Their greetings on the Day they will meet Him (will be), "Peace." and He has prepared a noble reward for them.

(According to 3 John 1:14 and John 20:19, Jesus, and people, greeted saying “peace to you” or “peace be with you”. Muslims also say “Peace” (33:44) or “Peace be upon you” (6:54, 7:46, 19:47). On the other hand, Christians say “hi”, “hello”, etc.)(This is one more proof that Christians are not the true followers of Jesus at all)(Allah knows best)

58:5 Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, (will) be disgraced as were disgraced those before them. And certainly We have sent down clear Verses. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.

54:43 Are your disbelievers better than those, or for you (is) an exemption in the Scriptures? 54:44 Or (do) they say, "We (are) an assembly helping (each other)?" 54:45 Soon (their) assembly will be defeated, and they will turn (their) backs.

4:172 Never would the Messiah disdain to be a slave of Allah nor the Angels near. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant, then He will gather them towards Him all together.

(There is a distinction in the Bible between “Jesus, the son of Mary / the Messiah” and “Jesus, son of the father (referring to God)”. The Aramaic name “Barabbas” literally means “son of the father” (referring to God). Ancient manuscripts of Matthew 27:16-17 have the name “Jesus Barabbas”, not just “Barabbas”; (see the translations that are more faithful to the oldest sources: “New International Version” or “contemporary English Version”, or “Good News Translation”, or “Net Bible”). According to the Bible, Pilate, the governor of Judea, asked the crowd which prisoner was to be released “Jesus son of the father” (aka “Jesus Barabbas”), or “Jesus who is called the Messiah” (Matthew 27:17). So, the Gospel, in Matthew 27:17, explicitly says that there are two characters bearing the same name (Jesus). And it seems that Christians mixed stories of two different characters; Jesus Barabbas blasphemed by bearing such a name “the son of father (referring to God)”, while Jesus the Messiah never said that he was the son of God, because the words “Barabbas / son of the father” and “Messiah / son of Mary” are used to distinguish one Jesus from the other)(Another point is that someone who claims to be the “king of the Jews”, he is going to have to lead the rebellion against Rome. Jesus Barabbas is the one who rebelled against Rome. The punishment for rebellion is crucifixion; so Jesus Barabbas was crucified, not Jesus the Messiah. A proof that Jesus Barabbas was the “king of the Jews”, while “Jesus the Messiah” had not such a title, is that Matthew 2:1-2 says that Jesus, “the king of the Jews”, was born in Bethlehem in Judea, while the earliest Gospel says that Jesus came from Nazareth, so the two accounts are contradictory, but, in fact, they are two different persons bearing the same name (Jesus); so, one Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and another Jesus was born in Nazareth. The Qur’an confirms that Jesus the Messiah is from Nazareth, because the word “Christian” is literally translated as “Nazarene” (follower/s of the Nazarene). Matthew 2:2 says “and asked, where is the one who has been born king of the Jews?”. So, Matthew 2:1-2 explicitly say that the one who was born in Bethlehem is the king of the Jews, rather than the one who was born in Nazareth)(According to Matthew 27:11, the governor asked the one who was to be crucified: “are you the king of the Jews? You have said so, Jesus replied”. So, according to the context (Matthew 27:11-13), despite Jews wanted to crucify the Messiah, they took “the King of the Jews” instead, (the one from Bethlehem); Matthew 27:37 confirms that: “above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is Jesus, the king of the Jews”. On the other hand, “Acts 3:6, 4:10, 10:38” confirm that “Jesus of Nazareth” is the Messiah (aka anointed one), rather than the one from Bethlehem)(The “Jesus” who uses the term “my father” and so, in Matthew, he is Jesus Barabbas (aka “Jesus son of the father))(Allah knows best)

19:30 He said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet. … 19:32 And dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me insolent, unblessed.

(Luke 2:41-52 defames “Jesus”. According to Luke 2:42, when Jesus was twelve years old, Mary was looking for him. After three days she found him in the temple courts (Luke 2:46), she says “why have you treated us like this?” (Luke 2:48), and she received an insolent answer “why were you searching for me? he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” (Luke 2:49))(Notice that the child said “father”, instead of “God”. So, one interpretation is that Jesus the Messiah was not disrespectful to his mother, but Christians mixed stories of two different characters bearing the same name (Jesus Barabbas vs. Jesus the Messiah), because the Aramaic name “Barabbas” literally means “son of the father”)(See the link below “Jesus the Messiah” vs. “Jesus Barabbas”)(Allah knows best)

19:20 She said, "How can I have a son when no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?" 19:21 He said, "Thus; your Lord said, 'It is easy for Me, and so that We will make him a sign for mankind and a Mercy from Us. And it is a matter decreed.'" 19:22 So she conceived him (fahamalathu), and she withdrew with him to a remote place. 19:23 Then the pains of childbirth (l-makhadu) drove her to (the) trunk (of) the date-palm. She said, "O, I wish I (had) died before this and I was (in) oblivion, forgotten." … 19:26 So eat and drink and cool (your) eyes. And if you see any human being, then say, "Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Gracious a fast, so I will not speak today (to any) human being." 19:27 Then she came with him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, certainly, you have brought an amazing thing.

(In regard to the so-called “three wise men” / “three kings” / ”biblical Magi”, there is no mention of “three wise men” in the Qur’an)(Magi” denotes that they were followers of Zoroastrianism or Zoroaster. According to the Bible, they knew about Jesus and came to worship him; that’s in direct contradiction with the Qur’an and the Bible itself, because the Bible and the Qur’an say that Jesus was only sent to the Children of Israel, not to the whole mankind; and worshiping the creation is idolatry, so the authors of those lies were based on their false belief that they think that Jesus is God and that Jesus came to the whole mankind)(Christians say that they were “three” based on that they brought three gifts, but the number of Magi is not even mentioned in the Gospel. Some Christians actually think that they were twelve. Christians also invented that they were kings, based on Psalms 72:11, which they attributed to the story of Jesus. And the Gospel doesn’t even say that they were wise)(The root of “hamalat” (conceived) is “Ha-Miim-La”, and it means “bore it, carried it, bear a burden, become pregnant with or conceive a child, etc.”. So, she withdrew to a remote place (19:22) when she was pregnant. According to the Bible, the Magi came from the east to Jerusalem, to see Jesus, but Mary was in a remote place according to the Qur’an)(The root of “makhadu” (pains of childbirth) is “Miim-Kh-Dad”, and it means “extract or fetch out the butter from milk, shake or agitate vehemently, turn over or revolve a thing, etc.”. So, the meaning could imply that she gave birth, right there, in the date-palm (19:23), not in a house (Matthew 2:11). And she didn’t speak to any human being that day (19:26), so Magi or anyone couldn’t have known about Jesus)(The Bible is not a reliable source. See the article below “Is the Bible corrupted?”)(According to the historian of religion, Anders Hultgard, he concluded that the Gospel story of the Magi was influenced by an Iranian legend concerning magi and a star, which was connected with Persian beliefs in the rise of a star predicting the birth of a ruler and with myths describing the manifestation of a divine figure in fire and light)(Another point is that Iran / Persia was a Zoroastrian country, and remained so, during and after the time of Jesus; so, it seems that Persians did not know or expect a ruler to be born in Palestine. There were Christians in Persia but as a minority religion, prior to becoming a Muslim country)(Allah knows best)

4:51 Do you not see those who were given a portion of the Book? They believe in superstition and false deities, and they say about those who disbelieve[d] "These are better guided to the way than those who believe[d]. 4:52 Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed, and whoever Allah curses then you will never find any helper for him.

(Many Christians wrongly believe in objects/creation giving or having luck. That’s polytheism)(Allah knows best)

9:51 Say, "Never will befall us except what Allah has decreed for us, He is our Protector." And on Allah let the believers put (their) trust.
