Can Islam be defeated?

3:19 Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Book did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the Verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in account.

(Islam is an Arabic word meaning “submission (to God)”, and “Muslim” is an Arabic word meaning "one who submits (to God)")(An answer to if “submitting / obeying God” can be defeated “by men” is that mankind is the one in loss (103:2), while God is freed of need (14:8). So, only the non-Muslims / disbelievers are the greatest losers. Whether Muslims are killed by non-Muslims, or there are people who become non-Muslims; what non-Muslims do is against themselves, and they are the ones going to Hell, because the only religion accepted by God is submission to Him (3:85))(Allah knows best)

3:85 And whoever seeks other than Islam as religion - then never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be from the losers.

(Those who do not submit to God, they are the losers in the Hereafter)(Allah knows best)

14:8 And Moses said, "If you disbelieve, you and all who are on the earth, then indeed, Allah is certainly Free of need, Praiseworthy."

18:103 Say, "Shall We inform you of the greatest losers (as to their) deeds? 18:104 Those, whose effort is lost in the life of the world, while they think that they were acquiring good (in) work."

2:217 They ask you about fighting in the sacred month. Say, "Fighting therein is a great (sin); but hindering from the way of Allah, and disbelief in Him and (preventing access to) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam, and driving out its people from it is greater (sin) near Allah. And oppression is greater than killing." And they will not cease to fight with you until they turn you away from your religion, if they are able. And whoever among you turns away from his religion, then dies while he is a disbeliever - for those, their deeds became worthless in the world and the Hereafter. And those are the companions of the Fire, they (will) abide in it forever.

(Many non-Muslims are proud of wars against Islam, even of those which they weren’t involved, but their ancestors and/or fellow countrymen. Their ancestors ended up dying, if not in that war, then by illness or/and by getting old. Mankind is not immortal. Then, on the Hereafter, the disbelievers are the greatest losers (11:22). And Christians fought for a territory to be a Christian land, but there are Muslims everywhere in the land, so their struggle was worthless, and Christians or Jews end up in Hell, if they died as a disbelievers (e.g. trinitarians are disbelievers (5:73)). On the other hand, those who believed, and fought in the way of God (in Islam fighting is in self-defense and against oppression), they would go to Paradise, that’s the great success (4:13))(People fought for territory in vain and unjustly, because moving wherever you want on earth is a human right)(Your nation won’t avail you against God (45:19). Everyone bears his own burden (39:7). Whoever strives, then he strives only for himself (29:6). People is deluded by the life of this world (6:70). Some people make his nation, language, etc., his way of life, while flags, languages and country borders are man-made. And they are deluded by their race, while mankind was created from a single soul (6:98, 7:189). People wrong themselves (16:28-29))(All the battles that non-Muslims fought are for evil reasons and worthless, if they end up in Hell. And some non-Muslims were/are against freedom of religion, but it also goes against themselves, against their fellow Europeans who converted to Islam, because Islam is not about race, but it is addressed to the whole mankind, despite, historically, non-Muslims tried to associate Islam to “black ones” (e.g. the origin of the word “moor” literally means “black, blackened”). Many non-Muslims are also racist against their fellow “black” Christians, and Jews against “black” Jews)(Allah knows best)

12:103 And most of the mankind will not be believers, even though you desire.

(You cannot make all nations to be believers, but there is a purpose: “the Word of your Lord will be fulfilled, "Surely I will fill Hell with Jinn and men all together." (11:119))(Allah knows best)

11:118 And if your Lord had willed, surely He could have made mankind one community, but they will not cease to differ. 11:119 Except on whom your Lord has bestowed Mercy, and for that He created them. And the Word of your Lord will be fulfilled, "Surely I will fill Hell with Jinn and men all together."

20:72 They said, "We will never prefer you to what has come to us of the clear proofs, and the One Who created us. So decree whatever you are decreeing. You can decree only for this life of the world. 20:73 Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us on it of magic. And Allah is Best and Ever Lasting." 20:74 Indeed, he who comes to his Lord as a criminal then indeed, for him is Hell. He will neither die in it and nor live.

(Verses 20:72-74 tell about Pharaoh, having dominion in the land, over the believers / Muslims (aka Submitted), but his deeds did not avail him, “the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst punishment,” (40:45))(Allah knows best)

28:60 And whatever things you have been given (is) an enjoyment of the life of the world and its adornment. And what (is) with Allah (is) better and more lasting. So (will) you not use intellect?

57:22 No disaster strikes on the earth or within yourselves, but is in a Register before We bring it into existence. Indeed, that is easy for Allah. 57:23 So that you may not grieve over what has escaped you, nor exult at what He has given you. And Allah does not love any self-deluded boaster,

(Everything happens by the permission of God. You don’t have to be exultant or grieve over what you got or lost)(Allah knows best)

8:17 And you did not kill them, but Allah killed them. And you threw not when you threw, but Allah threw and that He may test the believers with a good trial from Him. Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

3:156 O you who believe[d], do not be like those who disbelieved and they said about their brothers when they traveled in the earth or they were fighting, "If they had been with us, they would not have died nor they would have been killed." So Allah makes that a regret in their hearts. And Allah gives life and causes death, and Allah is All-Seer of what you do. 3:157 And if you are killed in the way of Allah or die - certainly forgiveness and Mercy from Allah are better than what they accumulate.

2:155 And surely We will test you with something of fear, and hunger, and loss of wealth, and lives and fruits, but give good news to the patient ones.

3:144 Muhammad is not but a messenger. Messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah (in) anything; but Allah will reward the grateful.

35:15 O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah, He is Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 35:16 If He wills, He (can) do away with you and bring in a new creation.

6:25 And among them are those who listen to you, but We have placed over their hearts coverings lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if they see every sign, they will not believe in it. Until, when they come to you and argue with you those who disbelieved say, "This is not but the tales of the former (people)." 6:26 And they forbid (others) from it and they keep away from it. And they do not destroy except themselves, and they do not perceive.

2:161 Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they (were) disbelievers, upon them is the curse of Allah, and the Angels, and the mankind, all together. 2:162 (They will) abide in it forever. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

4:113 And if it was not for the Grace of Allah upon you and His Mercy, surely a group of them had resolved to mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they will not harm you in anything. And Allah has sent down to you the Book and Wisdom and taught you what you did not know. And Allah’s Grace upon you is great.

10:108 Say, "O mankind, verily the truth has come to you from your Lord. So whoever is guided then (he is) guided only for his soul, and whoever goes astray then he only strays against it. And I am not over you a guardian."

59:16 Like the example of the Satan, when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds." 59:17 So the end of both of them will be that they (will be) in the Fire abiding therein forever. And that is the recompense of the wrongdoers.

(According to the Verse, both the one who prevent people from the religion and the one who was prevented, would go to Hell)(Allah knows best)

58:20 Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, those (will be) among the most humiliated.

3:177 Indeed, those who purchased disbelief with the faith - never will they harm Allah in anything, and for them is a painful punishment.

29:6 And whoever strives, then he strives only for himself. Indeed, Allah is Free from need of the worlds.

103:2 Indeed, mankind is surely in loss, 103:3 Except those who believe and do righteous deeds and enjoin (each other) to the truth and enjoin (each other) to patience.

39:30 Indeed, you will die and indeed, they (will also) die. 39:31 Then indeed, on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute before your Lord.

4:104 And do not be weak in pursuit of the people. If you are suffering, then indeed, they are suffering like you are suffering, while you hope from Allah what they do not hope. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

9:63 Do they not know that he who opposes Allah and His Messenger, that for him is the Fire of Hell, wherein (he will) abide forever? That is the disgrace, the great.

58:5 Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, (will) be disgraced as were disgraced those before them. And certainly We have sent down clear Verses. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.

61:8 They intend to put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His Light although the disbelievers dislike it.

9:32 They want to extinguish Allah's light with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His Light, even if the disbelievers dislike (it).

2:23 And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our slave, then produce a chapter like it, and call your witnesses other than Allah , if you are truthful. 2:24 But if you do not do, and you will never do, then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

52:42 Or do they intend a plot? But those who disbelieve are themselves the plot.

32:13 And if We had willed, surely We would have given every soul its guidance, but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with jinn and men all together.

6:21 And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not be successful.

4:167 Indeed, those who disbelieve and hinder from the way of Allah, surely they have strayed, straying far away.

9:33 He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, to manifest it over all religions. Even if the polytheists dislike (it).

110:1 When the Help of Allah and the Victory comes, 110:2 And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes. 110:3 Then glorify your Lord with the praises and ask His forgiveness. Indeed, He is Oft-Returning.

7:86 And (do) not sit on every path threatening and hindering (people) from (the) way (of) Allah, (those) who believe in Him, and seeking (to make) it crooked. And remember when you were few and He increased you. And see how was (the) end (of) the corrupters.

8:30 And when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or drive you out. And they were planning and Allah was planning. And Allah is the Best of Planners.

3:178 And let not think those who disbelieved that We give respite to them is good for themselves. We only give respite to them so that they may increase in sins, and for them is a humiliating punishment.

13:42 And certainly plotted those who were before them, but for Allah is the plot entirely. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know for whom is the final home.

2:14 And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you, we are only mockers." 2:15 Allah mocks at them, and prolongs them in their transgression, they wander blindly.

2:190 And fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like the transgressors.

4:74 So let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of the world for the Hereafter. And whoever fights in the way of Allah, then he is killed or achieves victory then soon We will grant him a great reward. ... 4:76 Those who believe, they fight in the way of Allah; and those who disbelieve, they fight in the way of the false deities. So fight (against) the friends of Satan. Indeed, the strategy of Satan is weak.

9:111 Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their wealth, because for them is Paradise. They fight in the way of Allah, they slay and they are slain. A true promise upon Him, in the Torah, and the Gospel, and the Qur’an. And who is more faithful to his promise than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And that is the great success.

64:9 The Day He will assemble you for the Day of the Assembly, that (will be the) Day of mutual loss and gain. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteous deeds, He will remove from him his evil deeds and He will admit him to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. That is the success, the great.

9:69 Like those before you, they were mightier than you in strength, and more abundant in wealth and children. So they enjoyed their portion, and you have enjoyed your portion like those before you enjoyed their portion, and you indulge (in idle talk) like the one who indulges. Those, their deeds are worthless in the world and in the Hereafter. And those, they are the losers.

47:32 Indeed, those who disbelieve and turn away from the way of Allah and oppose the Messenger after guidance has been made clear to them, never will they harm Allah in anything, and He will make their deeds worthless.

63:8 They say, "If we return to Al-Madinah, surely, the more honorable will expel the more humble therefrom." But for Allah is the honor and for His Messenger and for the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.

49:17 They consider (it) a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Nay, Allah has conferred a favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you are truthful.

6:133 And your Lord is the Self-Sufficient, the Possessor of Mercy. If He wills, He can do away with you and give succession after you to whomever He wills, as He raised you from the descendants of another people.

7:160 And We divided them into twelve tribes as communities. And We inspired to Musa when his people asked him for water, "Strike the stone with your staff." Then gushed forth from it twelve springs. Certainly, every people knew its drinking place. And We shaded them with clouds, and We sent down upon them manna and quails. "Eat of the good things which We have provided you." And they did not wrong Us but they were wronging themselves.

58:21 Allah has decreed, "Surely, I will overcome, I and My Messengers." Indeed, Allah (is) All-Strong, All-Mighty.

62:8 Say, "Indeed, the death from [it] which you flee [then it] (will) surely meet you. Then you will be sent back to (the) All-Knower (of) the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you [of] what you used to do."

67:20 Who is this/(it), the one, (that) [he] (could be) an army for you to help you [from] besides the Most Gracious? The disbelievers (are) not but in delusion.

6:116 And if you obey most of those on the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow nothing except assumption, and they are only guessing.

2:249 Then when Saul set out with the forces, he said, "Indeed, Allah will test you with a river. So whoever drinks from it then he is not of me, and whoever does not taste it then indeed, he is of me, except whoever takes in the hollow of his hand." Then they drank from it except a few of them. Then when he crossed it, he and those who believed with him, they said, "We have no strength today against Goliath and his troops." Those who were certain that they would meet Allah said, "How many by Allah’s permission has a small company overcome a large company. And Allah is with the patient ones."
