When / how are the fates determined?

When / how are the fates determined?

97:1 Indeed, We revealed it in the Night of Power. 97:2 And what can make you know what the Night of Power is? 97:3 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 97:4 Therein descend the Angels and the Spirit, by the permission of their Lord, for every affair, 97:5 Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.

(Verse 97:3 says that the Night of Power is better than a thousand months, in comparison with other nights; but the command / affair comes any night or day; this is supported by Verse 10:24, “there comes to it Our command / affair by night or by day”)(An interpretation is that “for every affair” refers to matters occurring or for that specific Night, because Verse 97:5 says, “peace it is until the emergence of dawn”. Even if it were to refer to matters arranged for the future, it does not imply or the Verse does not say that a matter cannot be changed in the future (“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves” (13:11)), and the Verse does not say “the command only comes that night”, so there is no contradiction in the Qur’an)(Allah knows best)

44:2 By the clear Book, 44:3 Indeed, We revealed it in a Blessed Night. Indeed, We are warning.

(The Book (the Qur’an) was revealed in a Blessed Night)(Allah knows best)

10:24 The example of the life of the world is only like water which We sent down from the sky, so the plants of the earth absorbs it, from which the men and the cattle eat, until when the earth takes its adornment and is beautified and its people think that they have the power over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, and We make it a harvest clean-mown, as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus We explain the Signs for a people who reflect.

41:30 Indeed, those who say, "Our Lord is Allah," then stand firm – the Angels will descend on them, "Do not fear, and do not grieve but receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised.

(In Verse 41:30, the Angels descend under a condition, whether it is by night or by day. And according to Verse 16:2, the Angels are sent down with the inspiration of God’s Command)(Allah knows best)

6:61 And He is the Subjugator over His slaves, and He sends over you guardians until, when death comes to one of you, Our messengers take him, and they do not fail.

47:27 Then how, when The Angels take them in death, striking their faces and their backs?

16:2 He sends down the Angels with the inspiration of His Command, upon whom He wills of His slaves, that "Warn that there is no god except Me, so fear Me."

57:22 No disaster strikes on the earth or within yourselves, but is in a Register before We bring it into existence. Indeed, that is easy for Allah.

(A matter is first in a Register, before it happens. This Verse does not specify the moment in which it is determined, but the order or chronology (first in a Register, and after that it is brought into existence))(Allah knows best)

6:59 And with Him are the keys of the unseen, none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. And not a leaf falls but He knows it. And there is not a grain in the darkness of the earth and not (anything) moist or dry but is in a Clear Record.

17:58 And (there is) not a town but We (will) destroy it before (the) Day (of) the Resurrection or punish it with a severe punishment. That is written in the Book.

17:13 And for every man We have fastened his fate (tairahu) in his neck, and We will bring forth for him on the Day of Resurrection a record which he will find wide open.

(A “fate” or “omen” (tairahu), according to Verse 36:18, is the consequence of their deeds)(Allah knows best)

36:18 They said, "Indeed, we see an evil omen (tatayyarna) from you. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you a painful punishment from us." 36:19 They said, "Your evil omen (tairukum) be with you, is it because you are admonished? Nay, you are a transgressing people."

10:44 Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people in anything, but the people wrong themselves.

13:11 For him are successive before and behind him who protect him by the Command of Allah . Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people misfortune, there is no turning away of it. And there is not for them besides Him any protector.

21:87 And Dhun-Nun, when he went (away) in anger and thought that We would never decree upon him. Then he called in the darkness that, "There is no god except You, Glory be to You, indeed, I am of the wrongdoers." … 37:142 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 37:143 And if he had not been of those who glorify 37:144 Certainly, he (would have) remained in its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 37:145 But We cast him onto the open shore while he was ill. 37:146 And We caused to grow over him a gourd plant.

(Jonah was of those who glorify (37:143), that was the reason to be cast onto the open shore, instead of remaining in the belly of the fish. So, Jonah thought that God would never decree upon him (21:87). But by glorifying God, Jonah fulfilled the condition to be cast onto the shore)(For every matter there is also a decreed time (13:38))(Allah knows best)

13:38 And certainly, We sent Messengers before you and We made for them wives and offspring. And it was not for a Messenger to come with a sign except by the leave of Allah. For everything is a time prescribed.

19:35 It is not for Allah to take a son. Glory be to Him, when He decrees a matter, then He only says to it, "Be" and it is.

44:4 Therein every wise affair is made distinct, 44:5 A command from Us. Indeed, We [We] are (ever) sending,
