Were the Messengers and their stories real or symbolic?

12:111 Verily, in their stories is a lesson for men of understanding. It is not an invented narration, but a confirmation of that which was before it and a detailed explanation of all things, and a guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

3:3 He revealed to you the Book in truth which confirms that which was before it and He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.

25:5 And they say, "Tales of the former people which he has had written down, and they are dictated to him morning and evening." 25:6 Say, "He has sent it down, the One Who knows the secret in the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

6:114 "Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge, while He is the One Who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail?" And those to whom We gave the Book know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so do not be among the doubters.

2:285 The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His Angels and His Books and His Messengers. "We make no distinction between any of His Messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the destination."

2:26 Indeed, Allah is not ashamed to set forth an example even of a mosquito and something above it. Then as for those who believed, they will know that it is the truth from their Lord. And those who disbelieved will say, “what did Allah intend by this example? He lets go astray many by it and He guides many by it. And He does not let go astray by it except the defiantly disobedient.

28:44 And you were not on the western side when We decreed to Moses the Commandment, and you were not among the witnesses.

(Those who say that the story of Moses is symbolic, they were not with the Messenger, so they speculate)(They wonder about miracles because they are uncommon, but the common events are as surprising or ”impossible” as the uncommon ones, because God created everything while everything was nothing before. So the creation itself is a miracle. The disbelievers do not know or decide what can happen and what can never happen in God’s creation)(The Qur’an Itself is an evidence that the stories were real. 53:28 And they have no knowledge about it. They do not follow but assumption. And indeed, the assumption does not avail against the truth at all.

3:42 And when the Angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. ... 3:44 That is from the news of the unseen - We reveal it to you. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them takes charge of Mary; nor were you with them when they were disputing.

10:75 Then, after them, We sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his chiefs with Our Signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people. 10:76 So when came to them the truth from Us, they said, "Indeed this is surely a clear magic."

18:9 Or you think that (the) companions (of) the cave and the inscription were a wonder among Our Signs? ... 18:13 We narrate to you their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.

2:50 And when We parted the sea for you, then We saved you, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking.

46:34 And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire, "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will say, "Then taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve."

32:20 But as for those who are defiantly disobedient, then their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to come out from it, they will be returned in it, and it will be said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny."

56:94 And burning in Hellfire. 56:95 Indeed, this is surely the certain truth.

102:6 Surely you will see the Hellfire. 102:7 Then surely you will see it with the eye of certainty.

40:81 And He shows you His Signs/Verses. Then which of the Signs/Verses of Allah will you deny?

2:85 Then you are those who kill yourselves and evict a party of you from their homes, you support one another against them in sin and transgression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom; while their eviction was forbidden to you. So do you believe in part of the Book and disbelieve in part? Then what should be the recompense for those who do so among you, except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the most severe punishment? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
