Can someone harm you using black magic, voodoo, evil eye, envy, etc.?

Can someone harm you using black magic, voodoo, evil eye, envy, etc.?

3:154 Then He sent down on you, after the distress, security - slumber overcoming a group of you, while another group certainly worried about themselves, thinking about Allah other than the truth - the thought of ignorance, saying, "Is there anything for us from the matter?" Say, "Indeed all the matter of it is for Allah." They hide in themselves what they do not reveal to you. They say, "If there was anything for us from the matter we would not have been killed here." Say, "If you were in your houses, those on whom death was decreed would have surely come out to their places of death. And that Allah might test what is in your breasts and that He may purge what is in your hearts. And Allah is All-Aware of what is in the breasts.

17:13 And for every man We have fastened his fate in his neck, and We will bring forth for him on the Day of Resurrection a record which he will find wide open. … 17:15 Whoever is guided then is only guided for his soul. And whoever goes astray then only goes astray against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And We will not punish until We have sent a Messenger.

(In regard to the Day of Resurrection, someone’s fate is upon himself)(That Day their deeds will be shown (99:6))(Allah knows best)

72:21 Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you any harm and nor right path." 72:22 Say, "Indeed, no one can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge besides Him.

10:49 Say, "I do not have power for myself (for) any harm or any profit except what Allah wills. For every nation is a term. When their term comes, then they do not remain behind an hour, nor can they precede."

6:59 And with Him are the keys of the unseen, none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. And not a leaf falls but He knows it. And there is not a grain in the darkness of the earth and not (anything) moist or dry but is in a Clear Record.

10:56 He gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned

39:44 Say, "To Allah (belongs) all intercession. For Him is the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned."

6:64 Say, "Allah saves you from it and from every distress, yet you associate partners." 6:65 Say, "He is All-Capable to send upon you punishment from above you or from beneath your feet or to confuse you into sects and make some of you taste the violence of one another." See how We explain the Signs so that they may understand.

4:78 Wherever you (may) be, death will overtake you even if you are in lofty towers. And if any good befalls them, they say, "This is from Allah," And if any evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you." Say, "All is from Allah." So what (is wrong) (with) these people, they do not seem to understand any statement. 4:79 What(ever) good befalls you is from Allah, and whatever evil befalls you is from yourself. And We have sent you for the people as a Messenger, and Allah is sufficient as a Witness.

(Everything happens by Allah’s permission (58:10, 64:11, 97:4), that’s why “all is from Allah” (4:78). On the other hand, evil befalls people because of themselves (4:79)(e.g. they follow the footsteps of Satan (2:168))(Allah knows best)

17:64 And incite whoever you can among them with your voice, and assault them with your cavalry and infantry and be a partner in the wealth and the children, and promise them." And Satan does not promise them except delusion. 17:65 "Indeed, you have no authority over My slaves. And sufficient is your Lord (as) a Guardian."

3:120 If a good touches you, it grieves them; and if misfortune strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear, their plot will not harm you in anything. Indeed, Allah, of what they do is All-Encompassing.

4:51 Do you not see those who were given a portion of the Book? They believe in superstition and false deities, and they say about those who disbelieve[d] "These are better guided to the way than those who believe[d]. 4:52 Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed, and whoever Allah curses then you will never find any helper for him.

26:97 "By Allah, indeed, we were surely in clear error 26:98 When we equated you with (the) Lord (of) the worlds.

4:48 Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives other than that for whom He wills. And whoever associates partners with Allah, then has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.

5:105 O you who believe, upon you (is to guard) yourselves. (Those) who (have gone) astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To Allah is your return - all; then He will inform you about what you used to do.

5:42 Listeners of falsehood, devourers of the forbidden. So if they come to you, then judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them, then they will never harm you in anything. And if you judge, then judge between them with justice. Indeed, Allah loves those who are just.

38:41 And remember Our slave Job, when he called to his Lord, "That, Satan has touched me with distress and suffering."

25:77 Say, "My Lord will not care for you, if not for your supplication. But verily, you have denied, so soon will be the inevitable (punishment)."

113:1 Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, 113:2 From the evil of what He created, 113:3 And from the evil of darkness when it spreads, 113:4 And from the evil of the blowers in the knots, 113:5 And from the evil of an envier when he envies."

(The Verses of the Qur’an are not mutually exclusive, but complement each other. What God created, the evil of darkness, the blowers and the envier, mentioned in Chapter 113, would only harm in what God wills (10:107, 10:49), and by Allah’s permission (58:10). The believers put their trust upon God (58:10), and they have to be patient, so that the plot would not harm you (3:120))(Allah knows best)

114:1 Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, 114:2 The King of mankind, 114:3 The God of mankind, 114:4 From the evil of the whisperer, the one who withdraws, 114:5 The one who whispers in the breasts of mankind, 114:6 From jinn and men.

58:10 Secret counsels are only from Satan, that he may grieve those who believe, but he cannot harm them in anything except by Allah's permission. And upon Allah let the believers put (their) trust.

10:106 And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you. But if indeed you did so, then you (will be) of the wrongdoers." 10:107 And if Allah touches you with adversity, (there is) no remover of it except Him, and if He intends for you any good, then (there is) no repeller (of) His Bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His slaves. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

7:131 But when good came to them, they said, "This is for us." And if bad afflicts them, they ascribe evil omens to Moses and those with him. Behold, their evil omens are only with Allah but most of them do not know.

27:47 They said, "We consider you a bad omen and those with you." He said, "Your bad omen is with Allah. Nay, you are a people being tested."

36:18 They said, "Indeed, we see an evil omen from you. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you a painful punishment from us." 36:19 They said, "Your evil omen be with you, is it because you are admonished? Nay, you are a transgressing people."

7:116 He said, "Throw." Then when they threw, they bewitched (the) eyes (of) the people, and terrified them, and (they) came (up) with a great magic. 7:117 And We inspired to Moses that, "Throw your staff," and suddenly it swallow(ed) what they (were) falsifying.

20:69 And throw what (is) in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have made. They (have) only made a trick (of) a magician; and the magician will not be successful wherever he comes."

8:17 And you did not kill them, but Allah killed them. And you threw not when you threw, but Allah threw and that He may test the believers with a good trial from Him. Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
