Is Satan the keeper of hell? Do Satan and his demons punish people in hell?

18:50 And when We said to the Angels, "Prostrate to Adam," so they prostrated except Iblees. (He) was of the jinn, and he rebelled against the Command of his Lord. Then, will you take him and his offspring as protectors other than Me, while they are enemies to you? Wretched is the exchange for the wrongdoers.

(Iblees (Satan) was of the Jinn (18:50))(Allah knows best)

59:16 Like the example of the Satan (l-shaytani), when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds." 59:17 So the end of both of them will be that they (will be) in the Fire abiding therein forever. And that is the recompense of the wrongdoers.

(Satan does not punish people in Hell, but he is to be punished, together with men (11:119, 59:17, 32:13))(Allah knows best)

11:119 Except on whom your Lord has bestowed Mercy, and for that He created them. And the Word of your Lord will be fulfilled, "Surely I will fill Hell with Jinn and men all together."

32:13 And if We had willed, surely We would have given every soul its guidance, but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with jinn and men all together.

7:179 And certainly We have created many jinn and men for Hell. They have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like cattle, nay, they are more astray. Those - they are the heedless.

38:75 He said, "O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating to (one) whom I created with My Hands? Are you arrogant or are you of the exalted ones." ... 38:82 He said, "Then by Your might I will surely mislead them all. 38:83 Except Your chosen slaves among them." 38:84 He said, "The truth, and the truth I say – 38:85 I will surely fill Hell with you and those who follow you among them all together."

40:49 And those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Hell, "Call your Lord to lighten the punishment for us (for) a day."

(The keepers of Hell are Angels (74:31, 96:18))(Allah knows best)

96:18 We will call the Angels of Hell

74:31 And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except Angels. And We have not made their number except (as) a trial for those who disbelieve – that those who were given the Scripture may be certain, and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who were given the Scripture and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers may say "What does Allah intend by this example?" Thus Allah lets go astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the hosts of your Lord except Him. And it is not but a reminder to (the) human beings.

26:91 And the Hellfire (will be) made manifest to the deviators. ... 26:94 Then they will be overturned into it, they and the deviators 26:95 And the hosts of Iblis all together.

7:38 He (will) say, "Enter into the Fire among nations which passed away before you of jinn and men." Every time a nation entered, it cursed its sister (nation), until when they had all overtaken one another therein, the last of them (will) say about the first of them, "Our Lord, these misled us, so give them double punishment of the Fire." He (will) say, "For each is a double, but you do not know."

7:11 And We certainly created you, then We fashioned you. Then We said to the Angels, "Prostrate to Adam," So they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated. ... 7:19 And O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in the Garden, and you both eat from wherever you both wish, but do not approach this tree, lest you both be among the wrongdoers." 7:20 Then Satan whispered to both of them to make apparent to both of them that which was concealed to both of them of their shame. And he said, "Did not Your Lord forbid you both this tree, except that you two become Angels or you two become of the immortals."
