Why are there so many religions?

2:79 So woe to those who write the book with their hands, then they say, "This is from Allah," to exchange it for a little price. So woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

3:78 And indeed, among them is surely a group - they distort their tongues in the Book so that you may think it is from the Book, but it is not from the Book. And they say, "This is from Allah." but it is not from Allah. And they say the lie about Allah while they know.

3:19 Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Book did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the Verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in account.

(“Islam” is an Arabic word meaning “submission (to God)”. According to this definition or meaning, that’s the religion preached by all Messengers)(Allah knows best)

3:85 And whoever seeks other than Islam as religion - then never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be from the losers.

45:17 And We gave them clear proofs of the matter. And they did not differ except after knowledge came to them, (out of) envy among themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that over which they used to differ.

4:157 And for their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him nor did they crucify him; but it was made to appear so to them. And indeed, those who differ in it are surely in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And certainly they did not kill him.

17:81 And say, "Truth has come, and falsehood perished. Indeed, the falsehood is (bound) to perish."

37:95 He said, "Do you worship that which you carve 37:96 While Allah created you and that which you do?"

(Some people worship that which they carve, while it is not a deity, but created things, like mankind (37:96))(Allah knows best)

10:44 Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people (in) anything, but the people wrong themselves.

(Mankind was created to willingly worship God, so it implies that mankind is able to make mistakes. Those who disbelieve in God’s religion, they differ from it)(Allah knows best)

51:56 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

10:36 And most of them follow nothing except assumption. Indeed, assumption does not avail anything against the truth. Indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what they do.

23:52 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion. And I Am your Lord, so fear Me. 23:53 But they cut off their affair between them into sects, each faction rejoices in what they have.

42:13 He has ordained for you of the religion what He enjoined upon Noah, and that which We have revealed to you, and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not to be divided therein. Difficult for the polytheists is that to which you call them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides to Himself whoever turns.

17:84 Say, "Each works according to his manner, but your Lord is most knowing of who is best guided in way."

2:113 The Jews say, "The Christians have nothing upon." And the Christians say, "The Jews have nothing upon," although they both recite the Book. Thus say those who do not know similar statements. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection in which they were differing.

22:68 And if they argue with you, then say, "Allah is most knowing of what you do. 22:69 Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection, concerning that over which you used to differ."

2:135 And they said, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say, "Nay, the religion of Abraham, the upright; and he was not of those who associated partners."

(Islam is older than Judaism and Christianity. God reveals the religion of Abraham in the Qur’an. 3:94 Then whoever fabricates a lie about Allah after that, then those are the wrongdoers. 3:95 Say, Allah has told the truth, then follow the religion of Abraham, upright; and he was not of the polytheists. 3:96 Indeed, the first House set up for mankind was that at Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for the worlds.

2:111 And they said, "None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian." That is their wishful thinking. Say, "Bring your proof if you are truthful."

62:6 Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah , excluding the people, then wish for death, if you are truthful."

2:94 Say, "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is exclusively for you, and not for others of mankind, then wish for death, if you are truthful."

25:43 Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be a guardian over him? 25:44 Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are not except like cattle. Nay, they are more astray from the way.

30:29 Nay, those who do wrong follow their desires without knowledge. Then who (can) guide (one) whom Allah has let go astray? And for them there are no helpers.

3:79 It is not for any human to whom Allah has given the Book, and the wisdom, and Prophethood to say to the people, "Be my worshipers besides Allah,” but "Be worshipers of the Lord because you have been teaching the Book and you have been studying."

3:64 Say, "O People of the Book, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we worship none except Allah, nor we associate any partners with Him and that we will not take others as lords besides Allah." Then if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims."

5:72 They certainly disbelieve who say, "Indeed Allah - He is the Messiah, the son of Mary." While the Messiah said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates partners with Allah, then surely Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his abode will be the Fire. And there will be no helpers for the wrongdoers.

3:51 Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is the straight path."

2:163 And your God is one God; there is no god except Him, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

21:25 And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me."

28:88 And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything (will be) destroyed except His Face. His is the judgment, and to Him you will be returned.

35:14 If you invoke them, they do not hear your call; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like (the) All-Aware.

41:43 Nothing is said to you except what was said to the Messengers before you. Indeed, your Lord is Possessor of forgiveness, and Possessor of painful penalty.

19:81 And they have taken besides Allah, gods, that they may be an honor for them. 19:82 Nay, they will deny their worship (of them) and they will be opponents against them. 19:83 Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them with incitement.

35:6 Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.
