Did Noah’s Ark hold every species? Was the flood in the time of Noah global or local?

Did Noah’s Ark hold every species? Was the flood in the time of Noah global or local?

29:14 And verily, We sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years, save fifty years, then the flood seized them, while they were wrongdoers.

(The flood was local, not global, because, according to this Verse, only the people of Noah was punished (the flood seized “them” / “his people” (29:14)). The species in the Ark were from that specific location as well)(Allah knows best)

11:25 And verily, We sent Noah to his people, "Indeed, I am a clear warner to you. 11:26 That do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a painful Day."

(Noah was sent to his people, not to the whole mankind)(Allah knows best)

7:64 But they denied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the ship. And We drowned those who denied Our Verses. Indeed, they were a blind people.

7:72 So We saved him and those with him by Mercy from Us. And We cut off the roots of those who denied Our Signs, and they were not believers.

23:27 So We inspired him, "That construct the ship under Our eyes, and Our inspiration, then when Our Command comes and the oven gushes forth, then put into it two mates from every (kind) and your family, except those against whom the Word preceded thereof. And do not address Me concerning those who wronged, indeed, they are the ones to be drowned.

11:44 And it was said, "O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold." And the water subsided, and the Command was fulfilled. And it rested on the Judi. And it was said, "Away with the wrongdoing people."

(It is say that Noah lived in the Middle East, around the region of Mesopotamia, or Turkey. It would confirm that the flood was local, because the ark rested on the Judi (Turkey))(Allah knows best)

54:11 So We opened the gates of heaven with water pouring down 54:12 And We caused the earth to burst with springs, so the waters met for a matter already predestined. 54:13 And We carried him on (an ark) made of planks and nails,

17:15 Whoever is guided then is only guided for his soul. And whoever goes astray then only goes astray against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And We will not punish until We have sent a Messenger.

71:26 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. 71:27 Indeed, You, if You leave them they will mislead Your slaves and they will not beget except a wicked, a disbeliever. 71:28 My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house - a believer and the believing men and the believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."

(Verse 71:26 could suggest that the flood was global, but “earth” also means “land”, so it could refer to that land, not planet earth. The next Verse confirms that it refers to his location “me and my parents, and whoever enters my house”. And Verse 28:59 confirms that towns are not to be destroyed until a Messenger is sent)(Allah knows best)

33:27 And He caused you to inherit their land (ardahum), and their houses, and their properties and a land (wa-ardan) (which) you (had) not trodden. And Allah on everything is All-Powerful.

(The root of “arda/ardan” (land) is “Alif-Ra-Dad”, and it means “Place for alighting or abiding. Earth, as opposed to heaven: and the ground, as meaning the surface of the earth, on which we tread, and sit, and lie, etc.”. So, according to the context, “earth” may refer to “land”)(Allah knows best)

6:130 O assembly of jinn and men, did there not come to you Messengers from (among) you, relating to you My Verses and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." And the life of the world deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers. 6:131 That (is because) your Lord does not destroy the cities unjustly while their people are heedless.

28:59 And your Lord was not the one to destroy towns until He (had) sent in their mother (town) a Messenger reciting to them Our Verses. And We would not be the one to destroy the towns except while their people were wrongdoers.

23:31 Then We produced after them another [a] generation (qarnan). 23:32 And We sent among them a Messenger from themselves [that], "Worship Allah; not for you/(you have no) [any] god other than Him. Then will you not fear?" … 23:42 Then We produced another [a] generation (qurunan) after them. 23:43 Not/(No) [any] nation can precede its term, and not/(nor) (can) they delay (it).

(The sentence Another generation after them”, in Verses 23:31 and 23:42, may imply that the new generation is from themselves, so, it only refers to the generation in that particular place they live in. The Verses do not suggest that the flood was global)(Notice that Verses 23:31 and 23:42 are nearly identical (“generation” in Verse 23:42 is plural, because it refers to “any nation”, while Verse 23:31 only refers to Noah’s people). So, whether Noah’s people, or other nations, the Qur’an uses the same sentence, which implicitly suggest that none of these events were global)(Allah knows best)
