How many Angels helped Muhammad at Badr?
3:121 And when you left your household early morning to post the believers (to take) positions for the battle. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 3:122 When two parties among you inclined to lose heart, but Allah (was) their protector. And in Allah let the believers put (their) trust. 3:123 And Allah certainly helped you in Badr while you were weak. So fear Allah, so that you may be grateful. 3:124 When you said to the believers, "Is it not enough for you that your Lord reinforces you (yumiddakum) with three thousand Angels sent down? 3:125 Yes, if you are patient and fear and they come upon you suddenly, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand Angels having marks.
(The word “expanding / reinforcing” (“Miim-Dal-Dal”) means to become larger in quantity / to increase, etc.; so, more Angels can be added to the previous wave)(Even if both Chapters, 3 and 8, refer to the battle of Badr, (“Badr” is only mentioned in chapter 3, not in chapter 8), there is no contradiction, because they occurred at different times: a thousand Angels were sent when the Messenger was seeking help against one of the two groups (8:9); on the other hand, they were reinforced with three thousand Angels when the two parties of the believers inclined to lose heart/courage (3:122-124); and, on the other hand, they would be reinforced with five thousand Angels depending on if they were patient and feared. So, it is not an unchangeable number (3:125), but the Verse Itself confirms that the number may vary)(Allah knows best)
8:5 As your Lord brought you out of your home in truth, while indeed, a party among the believers certainly disliked. 8:6 They dispute with you concerning the truth after what was made clear, as if they were driven to death while they were looking. 8:7 And when Allah promised you that one of the two groups would be yours - and you wished that other than the armed would be yours. But Allah intended to justify the truth by His words, and to cut off the roots of the disbelievers 8:8 That He might justify the truth and prove false the falsehood, even if the criminals disliked. 8:9 When you were seeking help of your Lord, and He answered you, "Indeed, I am going to reinforce you with a thousand Angels, one after another."
15:8 We do not send down the Angels except with the truth; and then they would not be given respite.
(This Verse does not say that Angels are not sent near disbelievers, as some non-Muslims say, but the Verse says otherwise)(Allah knows best)
32:11 Say, "The Angel of death who has been put in charge of you will take your soul. Then to your Lord you will be returned."
47:27 Then how, when The Angels take them in death, striking their faces and their backs?
