How the Qur’an corrects Sikhism?

How the Qur’an corrects Sikhism?

3:85 And whoever seeks other than Islam as religion - then never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be from the losers.

(“Islam” is an Arabic word meaning “Submission (to God)”, while the word “Sikh” is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning “disciple”, or one who learns. “Sikh” is a man-made name, and pointless)(Allah knows best)

6:79 Indeed, I have turned my face to the One Who created the heavens and the earth as a true monotheist, and I am not of the polytheists.

(Many sources call Sikhism a monotheistic religion, while Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, believes that the one is expressed through the many, so it is a form of pantheism)(Islam is a monotheistic religion)(Allah knows best)

112:1 Say, "He is Allah, the One. 112:2 Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute. 112:3 He neither begets nor is begotten. 112:4 And nor is there to Him any equivalent."

22:78 And strive for Allah with the striving which is due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you any difficulty in the religion. The religion of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before, and in this, that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over mankind. So establish prayer and give zakah (charity) and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector - so an Excellent Protector and an Excellent Helper.

(Sikhism was founded in the 15th century CE by Guru Nanak, so it is a man-made religion, while the religion of Islam is from God. Islam is the oldest religion because Adam, the first human being, was ordered to submit to the will of God (Islam = Submission (to God)). And that’s the religion preached by all Messengers of God)(In regard to the rites, Muslims (aka Submitted) are ordered to follow the religion of Abraham (2:127-128, 3:95, 16:123); if you do not follow the religion of Abraham, you are not submitting to God)(Allah knows best)

63:1 When the hypocrites come to you, they say, "We testify that you are surely the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are surely His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are surely liars. 63:2 They take their oaths (as) a cover, so they turn away from the Way of Allah. Indeed, evil is what they used to do.

(Sikhism accepts that there were Messengers of God, including Muhammad; that’s hypocrisy. If they were to believe in Muhammad (24:62), they would follow the Qur’an, and would disbelieve in Sikhism)(Muslims can testify that Guru Nanak is not a Prophet)(Allah knows best)

2:128 Our Lord, and make us Muslims (submissive) to You and from our descendants a Muslim community (submissive) to You. And show us our rites and turn to us. Indeed, You are the Oft-Returning, the Most Merciful.

(Sikhism does not believe in rituals, so they do not obey God, but they follow their desires)(Allah knows best)

2:50 And when We parted the sea for you, then We saved you, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking.

(Sikhism has an ambivalent attitude towards miracles. Miracles are recorded in the Bible and the Qur’an)(Allah knows best)

40:11 They will say, "Our Lord, You gave us death twice and You gave us life twice, and we confess our sins. So is there any way to get out?"

(Death and life are twice for everybody. A person was dead (non-existent), then alive (in this world), then the person dies (in this world), then is resurrected (on the Day of Resurrection))(The Sikhism founder Guru Nanak adopted the ideas on rebirth, and taught the ideas of reincarnation. The (man-made) concept of an endless cycle of rebirths is wrong)(Allah knows best)

2:168 O mankind, eat from what is on the earth - lawful (and) good. And do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. 2:169 He only commands you to do evil and the shameful and that you say about Allah what you do not know. 2:170 And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they said, "Nay, we follow what we found our forefathers (following)". Even though their forefathers did not understand anything, nor were they guided?

(Sikhism teaches that all religious traditions are valid, leading to the same “Waheguru” (the Creator), and it rejects that any particular religion has a monopoly regarding absolute truth for all of humanity. That’s Sikhs’ wishful thinking; they make assumptions about what they do not know, and they do not have any evidence about it. On the other hand, the Qur’an Itself is an evidence that other than Islam (aka Submission (to God)) is not accepted. See the links below, “The Qur’an and Mathematics” and “Is the Qur'an scientifically correct?”)(Allah knows best)

47:2 And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition. 47:3 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus Allah presents to people their similitudes.

5:87 O you who believe, do not make unlawful good things, which Allah has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not love the transgressors.

(Sikhs are prohibited from eating halal (lawful) meat. And in practice, the majority of Sikhs avoid meat. Baptized Sikhs are strict lacto-vegetarians, while it is a fact that humans are omnivores, capable of either eating meat or plant foods)(According to the article “Humans are Omnivores” by “John McArdle, Ph.D.”, “humans are classic examples of omnivores in all relevant anatomical traits. There is no basis in anatomy or physiology for the assumption that humans are pre-adapted to the vegetarian diet”)(Allah knows best)

2:125 And when We made the House a place of return for mankind and security and "Take the standing place of Abraham, as a place of prayer." And We made a covenant with Abraham and Ishmael, "Purify My House for those who circumambulate, and those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer and those who bow down and those who prostrate.”

(Sikhs do not believe in pilgrimages, while it is ordered by God)(Sikhs wrongly assume that a place of return cannot be made for the whole mankind, but pilgrimage is also supported by the Bible)(Allah knows best)

3:83 So is (it) other than the religion of Allah they seek? While to Him (have) submitted whatever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will be returned. ... 3:95 Say, Allah has told the truth, then follow the religion of Abraham, upright; and he was not of the polytheists. 3:96 Indeed, the first House set up for mankind was that at Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for the worlds.

18:29 And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a Fire, its walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like molten brass, which scalds the faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place.

(It is also said, as a difference, that apostasy is to be punished by Muslims, while Sikhism allows “freedom of conscience and choosing the own path”. But actually there is freedom of religion in Islam. See the articles below: “Is apostasy allowed?” and “Is there freedom of religion in Islam?”)(Allah knows best)

4:19 O you who believe, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by force. And do not constraint them in order to take part of what you have given them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah has placed much good in it.

(There are arranged and forced marriages among Sikhs, while it is forbidden in Islam)(The purpose of arranged and forced marriages is that “since the chosen partner will also be a Sikh any children will be brought up in a Sikh environment”. So, Sikhs are hypocrites when they speak about “freedom” of religion and “choice”; they are indirectly preventing their son or daughter from other religions, so not all religions/people are ok for them)(See the article below, “Are forced marriages allowed in Islam?”)(Allah knows best)

33:53 O you who believe, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when permission is given to you for a meal, without awaiting its preparation. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, then disperse without seeking to remain for a conversation. Indeed, that was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask them for something, then ask them from behind a screen (hijabin). That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not for you that you trouble the Messenger of Allah nor that you should ever marry his wives after him. Indeed, that is an enormity near Allah.

(Sex segregation is not required in public places or Sikh temples by Sikhism. But, sex segregation protects women, so Sikhism is not a realistic religion. There is a sexual harassment problem in all countries. Muslims can not harass women. For example, sexual harassment happens at work, transportation, etc. Some countries have tried or are planning women-only transport, to reduce sex attacks, which is a fact, for example, in Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Egypt, India, Thailand and United Kingdom)(Source: “Telegraph(dot)co(dot)uk”)(Allah knows best)

9:29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah and in the Last Day, and they do not make unlawful what Allah has made unlawful and His Messenger, and they do not acknowledge the religion of the truth, from those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the jizyah willingly, while they are subdued.

(It has also been alleged that “Muslims compelled the payment of a special tax called jizya”, while Sikhism has never required a special tax for non-Sikhs. But the context of Chapter 9 of the Qur’an is self-defense (9:8-10, 9:12-13, 9:40, 9:61, 9:64-66, 9:107). And Verse 9:29 tells that the payment is done willingly, and according to the context, it is said that the payment is in exchange of security. On the other hand, Muslims do not pay willingly in non-Muslim countries but they are forced to pay taxes, so some non-Muslims are hypocrites by using Verse 9:29 against Islam, and some non-Muslims are the ones doing wrong)(Allah knows best)
