How the Qur’an corrects Zoroastrianism?

4:23 Forbidden to you are your mothers, and your daughters, and your sisters, and your father's sisters, and your mother's sisters, and daughters of brothers, and daughters of sisters, and the mothers who nursed you, and your sisters from the nursing, and mothers of your wives, and your step daughters who are under your guardianship of your women you had relations with, but if you had not relations with them, then there is no sin on you. And wives of your sons who are from your loins, and that you gather together two sisters, except what has passed before. Indeed, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.

16:123 Then We revealed to you to follow the religion of Abraham, upright; and he was not of those who associate."

(It is wrongly said that Zoroastrianism is older than Islam, while “Islam” is an Arabic word meaning “submission (to God)”, and "Muslim" is an Arabic word meaning "one who submits (to God)", so according to the definition, Islam is from the time of Adam, the first human. Muslims follow the religion of Abraham (his rites (2:128)), so it is not a new religion. Before Abraham, people was also commanded to submit (aka be a Muslim))(Allah knows best)

3:85 And whoever seeks other than Islam as religion - then never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be from the losers.

(The name “Zoroastrianism comes after “Zoroaster”, a human being, while “Islam / Submission (to God)” is God’s religion, mentioned in the Qur’an. The Qur’an was revealed by God. The true religion is not named after a person)(Allah knows best)

22:78 And strive for Allah with the striving which is due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you any difficulty in the religion. The religion of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before, and in this, that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over mankind. So establish prayer and give zakah (charity) and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector - so an Excellent Protector and an Excellent Helper.

(God “has not placed upon you any difficulty in the religion” (22:78). On the other hand, it is said that Zoroastrians follow torturous rituals. Similarly, in Christianity, there is self-mutilation, etc. In Islam everything is good and achievable)(Allah knows best)

4:28 Allah wishes to lighten for you; and mankind was created weak.

18:29 And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a Fire, its walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like molten brass, which scalds the faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place.

(There is an invented practice among Zoroastrians that if a Parsi woman marries outside the religion, her children cannot be Zoroastrian. And if a man marries outside the religion, his wife cannot be Zoroastrian. And it is said that Zarathustra founded the religion to be practiced strictly by people of Persia, and people of no other places were allowed to practice the religion. Zoroastrians wrongly made their ethnicity their religion; on the other hand, Muhammad was sent to the whole mankind, and there is freedom of religion in Islam; that’s the true religion)(It is wrongly said that Zoroastrianism influenced Islam, in order to defame Islam, as if Islam were a man-made religion influenced by what Muhammad heard, while in fact the Qur’an is from God. If Zoroastrianism agrees with the Qur’an in some matter, that matter was not “founded” by Zarathustra, and then copied, but “the truth is from your Lord”(God) (18:29). “You were taught that which you did not know – neither you nor your forefathers” (6:91))(Religions, other than Islam, mix the truth with falsehood (it is forbidden to do that in Verse 2:42); the Qur’an confirms that which was previously revealed by God, not that which was not revealed by Him)(Allah knows best)

59:22 He is Allah, the One Who, (there is) no deity but He, All-Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

(God calls Himself “Allah”. It is said that “Allah” and “ilah” in the Qur’an use the same Semitic root than “eloah”, “elah”, “el” and “elohim” in the Bible; and “Allah” in Arabic has no gender, nor plural, because God is One. On the other hand, in Zoroastrianism, the name “Ahura Mazda” doesn’t literally mean “God”, and that name first appeared in the Achaemenid period, then Zoroastrians changed it to “Hormazd” during the Parthian era, and “Ohrmazd was used during the Sassanian era)(Allah knows best)

18:86 Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found a community near it. We said, "O Dhul-qarnain, either you punish them or take them with goodness."

(The Persian Dhul-qarnain (aka Cyrus (so-called) “the great”) was commanded by God. So, Cyrus had to obey / submit (aka be a Muslim))(Allah knows best)
