Does God command evil or not?
7:28 And when they do immorality they say, "We found our forefathers on it, and Allah has ordered us of it." Say, "Indeed, Allah does not order immorality. Do you say about Allah what you do not know?"
16:90 Indeed, Allah commands justice and good, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality and bad and oppression. He admonishes you so that you may take heed.
6:131 That (is because) your Lord does not destroy the cities unjustly while their people are heedless.
17:16 And when We intend to destroy a town, We order its wealthy people but they defiantly disobey therein; so the word is proved true against it, and We destroy it (with) destruction.
(Verse 17:16 does not say that God commanded evil, but says that its wealthy people disobeyed God, so the town was destroyed)(If its people were to commit evil acts in obedience, then the Verse would not say that they disobeyed)(Non-Muslims’ objections on these Verses are (as always) clearly wrong)(Allah knows best)
69:9 And there came Pharaoh, and (those) before him, and the overturned cities with sin.
