Where is God?
57:4 He is the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, then He rose over the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what comes forth from it, and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah is All-Seer of what you do.
11:7 And He is the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six epochs, and His throne was on the water that He might test which of you is best in deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you (will be) resurrected after death," those who disbelieved would surely say, "This is not but a clear magic."
(Some non-Muslims say that these Verses are contradictory, while in fact they are not mutually exclusive, but they complement each other)(Allah knows best)
10:3 Indeed, your Lord is Allah, the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, then He established (is’tawa) on (‘ala) the Throne, disposing the affairs. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Then will you not remember?
41:11 Then He directed (is’tawa) towards (ila) the heaven while it was smoke, and He said to it and to the earth, "Come both of you willingly or unwillingly." They both said, "We come willingly."
32:4 Allah is the One Who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six periods. Then (He) established on the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor. Then will you not take heed? 32:5 He regulates the affair from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a day, the measure of which is a thousand years of what you count.
70:4 The Angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a Day, its measure is fifty thousand years.
97:4 Therein descend the Angels and the Spirit, by the permission of their Lord, for every affair,
13:2 Allah is the One Who raised the heavens without pillars that you see, then He established on the Throne and subjected the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed term, He arranges the matter; He details the Signs, so that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.
40:7 Those who bear (yahmiluna) the Throne and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who believe, "Our Lord, You encompass all things, Mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Way and save them from the punishment of the Hellfire.
(“Haa-Miim-La” means “bore it, carried it, took it up, etc.; the Throne is carried (40:7), while it is interpreted that God is not carried by anyone or anything, because He is Free of need (22:64). So, “He established on the Throne” does not imply that He is carried, but the Verse only mentions the “Throne” to be borne)(Allah knows best)
2:255 Allah - there is no God except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and the guarding of both of them does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
2:115 And for Allah (is) the east and the west, so wherever you turn, there is the face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
14:37 Our Lord, indeed, I have settled (some) of my offsprings in an uncultivated valley near Your Sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish the prayers. So make hearts of men incline towards them, and provide them with fruits so that they may be grateful.
(The Verse does not say that He is only there, or that He is there or not, but it is His Sacred House)(Allah knows best)
17:42 Say, "If there were with Him gods, as they say, then surely they (would) have sought to the Owner of the Throne a way."
2:186 And when My servants ask you about Me, then indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls Me. So let them respond to Me and let them believe in Me, so that they may be led aright.
(God is near (2:186), and God is the most High (2:255). “Most High” and “near” are not mutually exclusive, but the disbelievers wrongly compare the Creator to the creation (e.g. things are near or far); similarly, the Qur’an says “the Hand of Allah” (3:73), so some disbelievers wrongly think of a human hand, but there is no any equivalent to God (112:4))(Allah knows best)
50:16 And certainly We created man, and We know what his soul whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.
7:105 Obligated not to say about Allah except the truth. Verily, I (have) come to you with a clear Sign from your Lord, so send with me the Children of Israel."
(Muslims do not have to conjecture about where God is, and they do not have to say something other than that which God says in the Qur’an (e.g. He is the Most High (2:255), He is near (2:186), etc.))(Allah knows best)
58:7 Do you not see that Allah knows whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth? There is no secret counsel (of) three but He (is) (the) fourth of them, [and] nor (of) five but He (is) (the) sixth of them, [and] nor less than that [and] nor more but He (is) with them wherever they are. Then, (on the) Day (of) [the] Resurrection, He will inform them of what they did. Indeed, Allah (is) All-Knower of everything.
9:129 But if they turn away, then say, "Sufficient for me is Allah. (There is) no god except Him. On Him I put my trust. And He is the Lord of the Great Throne."
56:85 And We (are) nearer to him than you, but you (do) not see,
43:84 And He (is) the One Who in the heaven - God, and in/(on) the earth - God. And He (is) the All-Wise, the All-Knower.
67:16 Do you feel secure (from Him) Who (is) in the heaven (that) He will not cause the earth to swallow you when it sways? 67:17 Or do you feel secure (from Him) Who (is) in the heaven, that He will (not) send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how (was) My warning?
81:20 Possessor of power, with (the) Owner of the Throne secure,
