Who suffers loss if Muhammad was wrong?

Who suffers loss if Muhammad was wrong?

34:48 Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth, the All-Knower of the unseen." 34:49 Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither originate nor repeat." 34:50 Say, "If I go astray, then I only go astray on / against myself. But if I am guided, then it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is All-Hearer, Ever-Near."

(Some non-Muslims say that there is a contradiction between Verses 34:50 and 16:25, but, one Verse speaks about the Prophet, who is a believer, and the other about the disbelievers on the Day of Resurrection, so there cannot be contradiction anyhow)(On one hand, according to Verse 72:13, those who believe will not fear any loss or burden; the believers also expect that they will be forgiven. On the other hand, the disbelievers are the ones who would carry the burdens mentioned in Verse 16:25)(According to the context, if he were astray (34:50), the responsibility is only on himself, not on the Revelation, because the Revelation is the truth and is guidance; and people have the Revelation in order to be guided. Verse 2:272 confirms that guidance is not upon the Messengers, but God guides whom He wills)(But another point is that Verse 34:50 only speaks about the Messenger himself, not about other people, or about misleading other people, while Verse 16:25 speaks about misleading others, so there cannot be contradiction anyhow)(Allah knows best)

16:24 And when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down? They say, "Tales of the ancient." 16:25 That they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Unquestionably, evil is that which they will bear.

27:91 "I am commanded only to worship the Lord of this city, the One Who made it sacred and to Him (belongs) all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims 27:92 And that I recite the Qur’an." And whoever accepts guidance then he only accepts guidance for himself; and whoever goes astray then say, "I am only of the warners."

(Both Verses, 27:92 and 34:50, speak about guidance and going astray, but Verse 27:92 is in regard to other people. According to Verse 27:92, both, “being guided” and “going astray”, refer to accepting or not accepting the guidance (aka “the Qur’an”), so it confirms that the Messenger is not to be involved or responsible of what others do; on the other hand, Verse 34:50 only speaks about the Messenger himself, regardless of other people. So, both Verses, 27:92 and 34:50, are not about the Messenger misleading people; but Verse 27:92 is about people’s attitude towards the guidance; in that regard, the Messenger is only of the warners (27:92), so he is innocent of what they commit)(Allah knows best)

45:21 Do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believed and did righteous deeds - equal in their life and death? Evil is what they judge,

33:5 Call them by their fathers; it is more just near Allah. But if you do not know their fathers - then they are your brothers in religion and your friends. But there is no blame upon you if you made a mistake therein, but what your hearts intended. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(Another point is that, even if someone makes mistakes, but what his heart intended was good, there might not be blame upon him (33:5))(Allah knows best)

29:12 And those who disbelieve said to those who believe, "Follow our way, and we will carry your sins." But they are not going to carry anything of their sins. Indeed, they are surely liars. 29:13 But they will surely carry their burdens and burdens with their burdens, and surely they will be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to invent.

(Verse 29:12 does not contradict Verse 16:25 anyhow, because, Verse 16:25 speaks about bearing “burdens” (waw zay ra), while Verse 29:12 speaks about carrying “sins” (kha ta hamza), so the two Verses use different words. And Verse 29:13 says “burdens” (tha qaf lam), which is also a different word)(The one who is innocent of what others committed, does not bear their burden. This is confirmed by Verse 11:35)(On the other hand, if a disbeliever was responsible of what others committed, then he would also bear their burdens (16:24-25), but would not carry someone’s particular sin (29:12), in which he was not involved, but it is to be carried by the one who committed it, so the misleader is only responsible for the “misleading”)(Allah knows best)

37:32 So we led you astray; indeed, we were (ourselves) astray." 37:33 Then indeed, that Day they (will be) sharers in the punishment.

(The context is that they were directly responsible of what other people committed)(Allah knows best)

32:18 Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.

(A believer and a disbeliever are not treated the same way. The disbeliever would carry a burden. The believer hopes that he will be forgiven)(Allah knows best)

40:58 And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. Little do you remember.

35:19-22 Not equal are the blind and the seeing, Nor are the darknesses and the light, Nor are the shade and the heat, And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.

38:28 Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked?

72:13 And that when we heard the Guidance, we believed in it. And whoever believes in his Lord, then he will not fear any loss or any burden.

11:35 Or do they say, "He has invented it?" Say, "If I have invented it, then on me is my crime, but I am innocent of what crimes you commit."

34:24 Say, "Who provides (for) you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allah. And indeed, we or you (are) surely upon guidance or in clear error." 34:25 Say, "You will not be asked about what/(the) sins we committed, and not/(nor) we will be asked about what you do."

36:17 And on us is not except the clear conveyance."

4:84 So fight in the way of Allah; you are not responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers, perhaps Allah will restrain the might of those who disbelieved. And Allah is Stronger (in) Might and Stronger (in) punishment.

10:15 And when Our Verses are recited to them as clear proofs, those who do not hope for the meeting with Us said, "Bring us a Qur’an other than this or change it." Say, "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I follow not except what is revealed to me. Indeed, If I were to disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a Great Day."

(The Messenger followed what was revealed to him (10:15), and he judged with the Qur’an (4:105), so he was not to mislead people, but people just do not accept the Guidance (27:92))(Allah knows best)

3:128 Not for you is the decision of anything whether He turns to them or punishes them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers. 3:129 And to Allah (belongs) what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(Verse 3:129 says, “He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills”, as if forgiveness and punishment were arbitrary, but according to the context (3:128), it only refers to the wrongdoers, so those who do good deeds are to be saved. Verse 3:128 says, “whether He turns to them or punishes them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers”. Another point is that, according to the context, the Verse refers to this world (3:127), but all disbelievers are to be punished in the Hereafter (4:18))(Allah knows best)

2:272 Not on you is their guidance, but Allah guides whom He wills. And whatever good you spend then it is for yourself, and do not spend except seeking the face of Allah. And whatever good you spend, will be repaid to you in full and you (will) not be wronged.

9:115 And Allah (will) not let a people go astray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should fear. Indeed, Allah is All-Knower of everything.

(Disbelievers cannot use other people as an excuse of their disbelief)(Allah knows best)

34:32 Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from the guidance after [when] it had come to you? Nay, (but) you were criminals."

50:27 His companion will say, "Our Lord, I (did) not make him transgress, but he was (himself) in far/(extreme) error." 50:28 He will say, "(Do) not dispute (in) My presence and indeed, I (had) sent forth to you the Warning.

53:38 That not/(no) [a] bearer of burdens will bear (the) burden (of) another,

(A bearer of burdens does not bear the burden that does not belong to him)(Allah knows best)

51:59 So indeed, for those who do wrong (is) a portion like (the) portion (of) their companions, so let them not ask Me to hasten.

(The sentence “a portion like” implies that it is similar or comparable, rather than bearing the burden of another)(Allah knows best)
