Does God get tired or need rest?

50:15 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, they are in doubt about a new creation.

50:38 And certainly, We created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between both of them in six periods, and fatigue did not touch Us.

(God does not get tired or need rest. So, the word “Sabbath” used as “rested” in Exodus 31:17 and Genesis 2:2 is either a mistranslation, or misinterpretation, or corruption of the Scripture. And also the term “was refreshed” in Exodus 31:17 is wrong)(Allah knows best)

7:54 Indeed, your Lord is Allah, the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six epochs, then (thumma) He established (is’tawa) on the Throne. He covers the night with the day seeking it rapidly; and the sun, and the moon and the stars are subjected by His command. Unquestionably, for Him is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds.

(According to Verse 7:54, after creating the heavens and the earth in six epochs, God established on the Throne, in the sense of “equaled, perfected, etc.”, not in the sense of “resting” (Sabbath))(The root of “is’tawa” (“established”) is “Siin-Waw-Ya”, and it means “to be worth, equivalent to; sawwa – to level, complete, arrange, make uniform, even, congruous, fashion in a suitable manner, perfect a thing; istawa – to establish, become firm or firmly settled, turn to a thing, etc.”)(The root of “Sabbath” in Arabic is “Siin-Ba-Ta”, and it means “to take rest, cease from work, repose, cut, stop, sleep, rest / lethargic / motionless, etc.”)(Allah knows best)

5:48 And We have revealed to you the Book in truth, confirming the Book that came before it and as a guardian over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their vain desires when the truth has come to you. For each of you We have made a law and a clear way. And if Allah had willed, He would have made you one community [and] but to test you in what He has given you; so race to good. To Allah you will all return, then He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.

(The current Torah is not a reliable source because it is said that it had multiple authors and that its composition took place over centuries. For example, the Talmud (aka Rabbis’ conjectures on the Torah) says that Moses wrote the Torah, but Deuteronomy mentions Moses’ death and burial, so he could have not written it)(According to Verse 5:48, the Qur’an is a guardian over the Book; and the Qur’an is called Criterion in Verse 3:4; so you have to use the Qur’an in order to know what is true in the Bible)(See the link below “Is the Bible corrupted?”)(Allah knows best)

2:255 Allah - there is no God except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and the guarding of both of them does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

6:14 Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He Who feeds and is not fed?" Say, "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first who submit and ‘Do not be of the polytheists’."

35:41 Indeed, Allah upholds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one can uphold them after Him. Indeed, He is Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.

4:1 O mankind, fear your Lord, Who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah , Whom you ask with it, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.

4:85 Whoever intercedes – a good intercession, will have for him a share of it; and whoever intercedes – an evil intercession, will have for him a portion of it. And Allah (is) on every thing a Keeper.

4:33 And for all, We (have) made heirs of what (is) left (by) the parents and the relatives. And those whom your right hands pledged - then give them their share. Indeed, Allah is a Witness over everything.

89:14 Indeed, your Lord (is) surely Ever Watchful.

4:134 Whoever desires the reward of the world - then with Allah is the reward of the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

4:148 Allah does not love the public mention of evil words, except by the one who has been wronged. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

17:111 And say, "All Praise is for Allah, the One Who has not taken a son and Who has no partner in the dominion nor any protector out of weakness. And magnify Him with all magnificence."

4:171 O People of the Book, do not commit excess in your religion and do not say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Glory be to Him, that He (should) have a son for Him. To Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

46:33 Do they not see that Allah, the One Who created the heavens and the earth and (was) not tired by their creation, (is) able to give life (to) the dead? Yes, indeed, He (is) All-Powerful over everything.
