How many trumpets will be blown on Qiyamah / the Resurrection?

79:6 (On the) Day will quake the quaking one, 79:7 The subsequent follows it,

(According to the following mathematical proof, a single trumpet is blown two times (Verse 39:68 also confirms that a trumpet is blown a second time): the root “nun fa kha” (to blow, to breathe”) occurs 20 times in the Qur’an, while “trumpet” occurs 10 times. So, the ratio 1/2 = 0.5 (1 trumpet/2 blows = 0.5) is the same than 10/20 = 0.5)(“It” and “quake/quaking” are feminine, so “it” refers to “quake/quaking”. So, the Verse does not mention the number of trumpets, but two quakes: the second following the first)(Allah knows best)

69:13 Then when the trumpet is blown with a single blow,

(Verses 69:13 confirms that the single trumpet is blown (with a single blow). And Verse 39:68 confirms that the single trumpet is blown a second time)(“A single blow” is the number of blows in one event, not the number of trumpets. According to Verse 39:68, a single trumpet is blown in two different events)(Allah knows best)

39:68 And the trumpet (will) be blown, then whoever is in the heavens and the earth (will) fall dead except whom Allah wills. Then (thumma) (it will) be blown a second time, and behold, they (will be) standing waiting.

(Verse 39:68 uses the word “thumma” (then), which indicates order, “then” a single trumpet (will) be blown a second time)(Allah knows best)
