How was the Qur’an revealed?
44:2 By the clear Book, 44:3 Indeed, We revealed it in a Blessed Night. Indeed, We are warning.
97:1 Indeed, We revealed it in the Night of Power.
2:185 The month of Ramadhan is that in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever witnesses among you the month, then he should fast in it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then prescribed number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and that you complete the period and to magnify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and that you may be grateful.
17:106 And We have divided the Qur’an, that you might recite it to people at intervals. And We have revealed it in stages.
(The Qur’an was revealed as a Book in one night of the month of Ramadan. That Book has not been brought down, in order to be touched or read by people (17:93, 4:153, 6:7). So, the Qur’an was entirely revealed as a written Book in a Blessed Night (44:2-3), but it was not revealed at once to the people, nor as a written Book, but as an oral recitation at intervals (17:106, 25:32). The Verses of the Qur’an are not mutually exclusive, but complement each other)(Allah knows best)
25:32 And those who disbelieve said, "Why was the Qur’an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus, that We may strengthen thereby your heart, and We have recited it (with distinct) recitation.
56:77 Indeed, it is surely a Noble Qur’an, 56:78 In a Book well-guarded, 56:79 None touch it except the purified. 56:80 A Revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
52:2 And by the written Book 52:3 In parchment unrolled,
85:21 Nay, it is a Glorious Qur’an, 85:22 In a Guarded Tablet.
17:93 Or you have a house of ornament or you ascend into the sky. And never we will believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book that we could read." Say, "Glorified is my Lord, "what am I but a human Messenger."
(The Verses do not say that a book has been brought down)(Allah knows best)
2:97 Say, "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - then indeed he brought it down upon your heart by the permission of Allah, confirming what (was) before it and a guidance and glad tidings for the believers."
(It was brought down upon his heart, not as a book which they could touch with their hands)(Allah knows best)
6:7 And (even) if We (had) sent down to you a written Scripture on parchment and they touched it with their hands, those who disbelieved (would) surely have said, "This is not but clear magic."
4:153 The People of the Book ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. Indeed, they had asked Moses even greater than that for they said, "Show us Allah manifestly," so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf after clear proofs came to them, then We forgave them for that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.
13:39 Allah eliminates and confirms what He wills, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.
