22:78 And strive for Allah with the striving which is due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you any difficulty in the religion. The religion of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before, and in this, that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over mankind. So establish prayer and give zakah (charity) and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector - so an Excellent Protector and an Excellent Helper.

(“Muslim” is an Arabic word meaning "one who submits (to God)"; and “Islam” is an Arabic word meaning “submission (to God)”; that’s the only religion accepted by God (3:85)(e.g. He does not accept disobedience, or worshiping Jesus, etc.). Some people’s purpose of using words like “Muhammadans” and/or “Muhammadanism” is to make people think that Islam was invented or founded by Muhammad, instead of being revealed by God; or making people think that Muslims are devoted to Muhammad, just as Christians are devoted to Jesus; but Muhammad only followed what God revealed to him (7:203); and in Islam is forbidden to worship Muhammad, Jesus, or any other than God)(Allah knows best)

2:135 And they said, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say, "Nay, the religion of Abraham, the upright; and he was not of those who associated partners."

(Muslims follow the religion of Abraham which was revealed by God)(It is evident that the Qur’an is from God, not from Muhammad; there are scientific and mathematical proofs in the Qur’an; and you can find in the Qur’an the same rules than in the Bible, so Islam is not a new religion. But the Qur’an is a Criterion over the Bible to know what is true in there (5:48), because Christians and Jews contradict themselves, and deviated. For example, if the Bible and the Qur’an say that God is One, but Christians say that God is three, then the Qur’an confirms that God is One; and the concept of “trinity” is wrong. 10:84 And Moses said, "O my people, if you have believed in Allah, then put your trust in Him, if you are Muslims."

(In regard to the words “Jew” and “Christian”, according to Acts 11:26, the disciples were called “Christians” first in Antioch, so the word “Christian” was invented because it is not mentioned in any of the four Gospels)(The word “Christian” is not used in the Qur’an; the literal translation of the Arabic word is “Nazarenes” ((followers) of the Nazarene))(Islam (aka “Submission (to God)”) is the religion preached by Jesus, and all Messengers, because, for example, according to Luke 22:42, Jesus said “yet not my will, but yours be done”)(In regard to the word “Jew” (in Hebrew, “Yehudi”), the Messengers were not Jews. The word is derived from the name “Judah”, which was the name of one of Jacob’s twelve sons. Judah was the ancestor of one of the tribes of Israel (tribe of Judah), which was named after him. In the Qur’an, the word “Jew” (H-W-D) is used in the context of religion, not ethnicity or lineage, because it is mentioned together with other religious groups (Christian and Sabians (2:62)). According to Verse 2:140, Jacob and the descendants were not Jews, so “Jews” do not indicate lineage in the Qur’an, but religion)(Judaism and Christianity differ from the correct religion, so the Messengers were not Jews (in regard to religion) or Christians. The true religion is not named after a person. Islam was not named after a person)(Allah knows best)

3:67 Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim, and he was not of the polytheists.

2:133 Or were you witnesses when death came to Jacob, when he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac – One God. And we are Muslims/submissive to Him."

3:52 Then when Jesus perceived disbelief from them, he said, "Who (will be) my helpers (of) Allah." The disciples said "We (will be the) helpers (of) Allah, we believe in Allah and bear witness that we are Muslims.

3:84 Say, "We believed in Allah and what is revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the descendants and what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and the Prophets from their Lord. We do not make distinction between any of them and to Him we are submissive/Muslims.

(Those who try to attack or defame Islam and Muslims, with bad intentions, by using invented terms like “Muhammadans” and “Muhammadanism”, they might be disbelievers and/or hypocrites. Hypocrites and disbelievers are to be burnt in Hell (4:140), so it is the worst thing you can call someone)(By telling lies about Islam, they wrong themselves. A Muslim is a Muslim (Submitted (to God)), whether non-Muslims call them “Muslim” or otherwise (e.g. pejorative terms). 7:203 And when you do not bring them a Sign, they say, "Why have you not devised it?" Say, "I only follow what is revealed to me from my Lord. This is enlightenment from your Lord and guidance and mercy for a people who believe."

3:144 Muhammad is not but a messenger. Messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah (in) anything; but Allah will reward the grateful.

10:15 And when Our Verses are recited to them as clear proofs, those who do not hope for the meeting with Us said, "Bring us a Qur’an other than this or change it." Say, "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I follow not except what is revealed to me. Indeed, If I were to disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a Great Day."

3:85 And whoever seeks other than Islam as religion - then never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be from the losers.

3:19 Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Book did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the Verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in account.

46:9 Say, "I am not a new (one) among the Messengers and nor do I know what will be done with me and with you. I follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."

53:2 Your companion has not strayed, nor has he erred, 53:3 And he does not speak from the desire.

3:99 Say, "O People of the Book, why do you hinder those who believe from the way of Allah, seeking to make it (seem) crooked, while you are witnesses? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

16:105 They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the Verses of Allah, and they are the liars.
