What is the purpose of death?

What is the purpose of death?

67:2 Who created death and life to test you, which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.

3:167 And that He might make evident those who are hypocrites. And it was said to them, "Come, fight in the way of Allah or defend." They said, "If we knew fighting, certainly we would have followed you." That day they were nearer to disbelief than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah is Most Knowing of what they conceal.

9:49 And among them is he who says, "Permit me and do not put me to trial." Surely, into trial they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will surely surround the disbelievers.

39:30 Indeed, you will die and indeed, they (will also) die. 39:31 Then indeed, on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute before your Lord.

8:17 And you did not kill them, but Allah killed them. And you threw not when you threw, but Allah threw and that He may test the believers with a good trial from Him. Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

2:155 And surely We will test you with something of fear, and hunger, and loss of wealth, and lives and fruits, but give good news to the patient ones.

3:191 Those who remember Allah standing, and sitting and on their sides and they reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth, "Our Lord, You have not created this in vain. Glory be to You, so save us from the punishment of the Fire.

32:13 And if We had willed, surely We would have given every soul its guidance, but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with jinn and men all together.

35:37 And they will cry therein, "Our Lord! Bring us out; we will do righteous (deeds) other than (that) which we used (to) do." Did We not give you life long enough that whoever (would) receive admonition therein receives admonition? And the warner came to you. So taste, then for the wrongdoers (there is) no helper.

103:2 Indeed, mankind is surely in loss, 103:3 Except those who believe and do righteous deeds and enjoin (each other) to the truth and enjoin (each other) to patience.

65:2 Then when they have reached their term, then retain them with kindness or part with them with kindness. And take as witnesses two just men among you and establish the testimony for Allah. That is instructed to whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out,

17:80 And say, "My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance, and cause me to exit a sound exit and make for me from near You a helping authority."

10:104 Say, "O mankind, if you are in doubt of my religion, then I do not worship those whom you worship besides Allah, but I worship Allah, the One Who causes you to die. And I am commanded to be of the believers."

64:10 But those who disbelieved and denied Our Verses, they are the companions of the Fire, abiding forever therein. And wretched is the destination.

17:49 And they say, "Is it when we are bones and crumbled particles, will we surely be resurrected as a new creation." … 17:98 That is their recompense because they disbelieved in Our Verses and said, "When we are bones and crumbled particles, will we surely be resurrected as a new creation." 17:99 Do they not see that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, is Able to create the likes of them? And He has appointed for them a term, no doubt in it. But the wrongdoers refuse except disbelief.

3:185 Every soul (will) taste death, and you will be paid your reward in full only on the Day of Resurrection. Then whoever is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, then surely he is successful. And the life of the world is not except enjoyment of delusion.

30:50 So look at (the) effects (of the) Mercy (of) Allah, how He gives life (to) the earth after its death. Indeed, [that] He (will) surely give life (to) the dead. And He (is) on everything All-Powerful.

75:39 Then made of it two kinds, the male and the female. 75:40 Is not [that] Able to give life to the dead?

4:122 And those who believe and do righteous deeds, We will admit them in Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. A Promise of Allah in truth, and who is truer than Allah in statement?
