Is sailing of ships a miracle?

31:31 Do you not see that the ships sail through the sea by the Grace of Allah that He may show you of His Signs? Indeed, in that surely are Signs for everyone patient and grateful.

(According to Verse 31:31, there are Signs in the sailing of ships. The disbelievers do not see the Sign in it because sailing of ships is a common event, but if it were not by the Grace of Allah, sailing of ships would not be possible. Everything happens by God’s permission (7:58, 14:25))(Sailing of ships is as surprising as other “miracles” or events that may be uncommon, because the creation itself is a miracle. God created everything while everything was nothing before. So, whether the event is common or uncommon, all events are “impossible”, unless God wills / allows it to happen. God sustains/upholds the whole creation, because God is the Sustainer of existence (2:255); and “Allah upholds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease” (35:41))(For example, according to Verse 30:46, God sends the winds; scientists say that the wind is caused by differences in the atmospheric pressure; then what causes the pressure differences? According to scientist, the sun heats different parts of the earth differently, causing pressure differences; their conclusion is that the sun is the driving force for “most” winds; but, what causes / created the sun? And so on; finally they won’t be able to answer what created or caused the universe, and the Big Bang; which implies that they cannot answer what moves the winds. Verse 41:37 says, “Do not prostrate to the sun and nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah , Who created them, if it should be Him alone that you worship”; and Verse 6:59 says, “not a leaf falls but He knows it. And there is not a grain in the darkness of the earth and not (anything) moist or dry but is in a Clear Record”)(The disbelievers find that these events happen in a disordered or chaotic manner, while it happens within an order (universe), which is a fact. God created everything, while “time”, “chaos” or “nature” are unable to create)(Allah knows best)

42:32 And among His Signs are ships in the sea, like mountains. 42:33 If He wills, He can cause the wind to become still, then they would remain motionless on its back. Indeed, in that surely are Signs for everyone patient and grateful. 42:34 Or He could destroy them for what they have earned; but He pardons much. 42:35 And those who dispute concerning Our Signs may know that there is no place of refuge for them.

17:66 Your Lord is the One Who drives the ship for you in the sea, that you may seek of His Bounty. Indeed, He is Ever Merciful to you. 17:67 And when hardship touches you at sea, those whom you call are lost except Him Alone. But when He delivers you to the land you turn away. And man is ungrateful.

30:46 And among His Signs is that He sends the winds as bearers of glad tidings and to let you taste His Mercy, and that the ships may sail at His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, and that you may be grateful.

7:58 And the pure land – its vegetation comes forth by the permission of its Lord, but that which is bad - does not come forth except with difficulty. Thus We explain the Signs for a people who are grateful.

8:17 And you did not kill them, but Allah killed them. And you threw not when you threw, but Allah threw and that He may test the believers with a good trial from Him. Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

53:43 And that He makes (one) laugh and makes (one) weep.

56:63 And do you see what you sow? 56:64 Is it you who cause it to grow or are We the grower?

28:68 And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses. They do not have the choice. Glory be to Allah and High is He above what they associate.

27:60 Or Who has created the heavens and the earth and sent down water for you from the sky? And We caused to grow thereby gardens of beauty, it is not for you to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any god with Allah? Nay, they are a people who ascribe equals.

15:22 And We have sent the fertilizing winds, and We sent down water from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink. And you are not its retainers.

52:37 Or are the treasures of your Lord with them, or are they the controllers?

16:11 With it He causes to grow for you the crops, and the olives, and the date-palms, and the grapes and every kind of fruits. Indeed, in that is surely a sign for a people who reflect.

16:79 Do they not see the birds controlled in the midst of the sky? None holds them except Allah. Indeed, in that are Signs for a people who believe.

37:96 While Allah created you and that which you do?"

2:255 Allah - there is no God except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and the guarding of both of them does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

6:59 And with Him are the keys of the unseen, none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. And not a leaf falls but He knows it. And there is not a grain in the darkness of the earth and not (anything) moist or dry but is in a Clear Record.

57:22 No disaster strikes on the earth or within yourselves, but is in a Register before We bring it into existence. Indeed, that is easy for Allah. 57:23 So that you may not grieve over what has escaped you, nor exult at what He has given you. And Allah does not love any self-deluded boaster,

40:61 Allah is the One Who made for you the night that you may rest in it, and the day giving visibility. Indeed, Allah is Full of Bounty to the people, but most of the people are not grateful. 40:62 That is Allah , your Lord, Creator of all things, there is no god except Him. So how are you deluded?

3:49 And a Messenger to the Children of Israel, "Indeed, I have come to you with a sign from your Lord - that I design for you from clay like the form of the bird, then I breath into it and it becomes a bird by the permission of Allah. And I cure the blind, and the leper, and I give life to the dead by the permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed, in that is surely a sign for you, if you are believers.

55:33 O assembly of jinn and men, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You cannot pass except by authority.

(Likewise sailing of ships is by the permission of God)(Allah knows best)

10:65 And let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, all honor to Allah. He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
